Hot days are hard on everyone. Please check in on older or vulnerable family and friends to see how they're coping, especially if they live alone. Do they have enough food and medications at home? Do they need some shopping or other errands done for them?

Eventide independent living residents raised over $300 for Beyond Blue at the Big Blue Table morning tea. We enjoyed scones with jam and cream, had conversations about mental health and watched the Beyond Now video describing the Su***de Safety Plan App.

How lovely to sit back and relax after a busy Christmas Season. With decorating, cooking, preparing gifts, Christmas parties and carols we have had a very busy December. What a treat to celebrate with friends and family!!!
A big thank you to everyone who has gifted us with Christmas treats and also to all our wonderful kitchen staff who have continually catered for us and beautifully decorated the dining room.
Remember to take care during the hot summer weather and keep an eye out for your elderly neighbours checking for symptoms of heat exhaustion.
