Become a Chatty Café Venue and help create a space where people feel welcome, seen, and connected. Whether you're a café, restaurant, library, community centre, or neighbourhood house, hosting a “Chatty Cafe session is a simple way to support social health and reduce loneliness 💛

No special training needed. Just a table, a sign, and a willingness to make room for conversation. Some venues even have Chatty Volunteers to help get the chat flowing!

Korumburra Library recently welcomed plant lovers for a Chatty Café session all about Permaculture! 🌻

Supported by the South Gippsland Permaculture Group, it was a fantastic afternoon of conversation and hands-on learning. Participants shared tips on growing and saving seeds, made their own seed holders for the swap, and explored what’s coming up in the permaculture world. It was also a great chance to showcase the wide range of permaculture books available through Myli - My Community Library.

Their next Chatty Café session will be held at Korumburra Library on Wednesday 24 September, 3pm - 4.30pm.
This theme will be Big and Small Games.

🗒️ Note: No Chatty Cafe on tomorrow at Alamein Neighbourhood and Learning due to possible power outage.

Due to a possible power outage tomorrow (Wednesday 17 September), Alamein will be closed. Our English class is going on an excursion and our CHSP participants are visiting a cafe. However, please note, there won't be a Chatty Cafe on tomorrow.
