Our next Playgroup date is coming up - yay! 🤾🎉 Please join us with your children or grandchildren on Thursday, 30th October for a morning of fun, singing, games and playtime with our residents, and don't forget to contact Rozz to RSVP!

In keeping with our aim to protect our residents, and the wider community, we ask that all adults do a Rapid Antigen (RA) test on arrival, and sign in and out at reception. Test kits are available from the Reception desk. Please come early to allow 15 minutes to complete the test.

If you or your gran/child are experiencing a fever or other COVID symptoms we ask you to kindly skip this event and join us again when you're well!

Our Winter Warmer nights have brought joy and connection to our residents and their families! 🎥☕️❄️ 🔥

We shared a lovely warm meal of hot comforting soup and sandwiches followed by sticky date pudding with custard. Following dinner, we stayed together to watch a classic movie and share in some hot chocolate with marshmallows.

We've loved watching our community come together to create cherished memories and make new friendships.

It has been a lovely way to chase the winter blues a way, and a highlight on the August calendar. Thanks to all who joined us and our amazing staff for making it happen! ❤️

GreenBriar's Annual Luncheon 🌿
Residents & Village Management Committee of GreenBriars came together to enjoy their annual Luncheon held in the community hall on the 1st of August. Special thanks to John, Ros and Carol for arranging the lovely catering. An enjoyable time was had by all!

It's that time of year again! Nominations for our Marion Matthews Employee of the Year Award are open! 🏆🎉

"The Marion Matthews Employee of the Year Award is a way we can recognise those who have excelled in their service and dedication to residents and families. I am sure you will agree there are plenty of high-quality staff to choose from, so please feel free to nominate any and all who you feel are worthy of special recognition.

The nomination form will be online, as well as being available on paper, so please click on or scan the QR code below, and on posters around Bethsalem Care, and keep the nominations rolling in.

I take a lot of pleasure from reviewing the kind and complimentary comments that are made, so please be very specific and detailed. Staff love to hear how much they are appreciated and valued, and this is a fantastic way to promote the good work being done.

• Christadelphian Aged Care Conference •

Last week, Board and Leadership Teams from Christadelphian aged care providers across Australia — Christadelphian Homes (NSW), Maranatha (QLD), Olivet (VIC), and Bethsalem Care (SA) — came together for a three-day conference in Sydney. 🌿

Hosted at Ashburn House and Courtlands Village, the event was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge, and explore the future of aged care together.

We were honoured to hear valuable insights from senior representatives of Ageing Australia, Stewart Brown, and DH Aged Care Consulting. The conference wrapped up with an inspiring strategy session led by Ant Pearce, challenging us all to stay focused on our mission — providing care as a witness and meeting the needs of ageing Australians with compassion and excellence. 💙

Olivet Care

Bethsalem's Craft Circle meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month and gives our residents a chance to enjoy activities from sewing, to card making, knitting and cross-stitch. 🖌🎨

We're so grateful for our volunteers that dedicate their time and resources to supporting this great initiative!

If you have any craft supplies you'd like to contribute for our craft circle, we'd be most grateful! You can give them to a lifestyle team member or leave them at reception. And if you're a resident or family member, please come join in!

Our Resident Activities this year have been based around the theme "From Here to There" - exploring the journey's of life. Each month we "visit" a different country for our world Kitchen afternoon and this month our residents were privileged to experience "Sinova's Taiwan"! 🇹🇼
