Had some interesting ceremonies recently, got soaking wet on two and was involved in an accident to the second one at The VInes. Two Sundays ago my first bride was determined for the ceremony to go ahead in the park, regardless of the rain. It was in truth a lovely ceremony, one of those ceremonies where the emotions were palpable.
The bride tweeted "Yes John and myself were happy with the ceremony Rain is meant to be Goodluck was great thank you sooo much. John & Jasmine"

At the second one, there was a car crash directly in front of me; people drive so fast and tailgate in wet weather. I always allow time for such incidents, and the ceremony started on time and the couple emailed "The ceremony was perfect and we could not ask for anything more, it was a pleasure to have you as our celebrant and made our ceremony so perfect and special.
Thanks again, Josh and Emily" At that ceremonies there were 4 couples who I had happily brought together, and still happy, over 25 years and a lad I had performed a Naming Ceremony for 20 years and ago. A really happy gathering the atmosphere was electric with love and happiness.

Had a lovely ceremony here this Saturday in Northerly Park, just up the road from my office. The first two are my front garden, the last one is the venue of my ceremony

Had a lovely weekend making 3 couples and their family and friends happy. The first ceremony was on Warnbro beach and though it was a bit windy (Fremantle doctor) it was a lovely, especially the bride in full regalia and bare feet. I wish I had taken my shoes off, because on the trek back to the carpark it seemed I was carrying a ton of sand. I emptied my shoes then returned to Piara Waters to a lovey ceremony with only two witnesses in their house. They were a special couple and I am sure the marriage will last for many years. My last ceremong was in the gazebo of the beautifully upgraded Minnawarra Park in Armadale. The bride came from China and she laughed and cried her way through the ceremony and even though her understanding of English is restricted she said her vows, clearly, with conviction and with love.

That is the great return celebrants get from their ceremonies is helping people in love to start the new life together with a meaningfull marriage ceremony, something they will remember for many years to come

Just had a lovely holiday in Bali, and left before the 6 metre king waves that flooded the coast and earthquakes in Lombok. Back home to continuous rain for the last 10 days (apart from one day and we played bowls and lost, out of practice) Had the wettest July and wettest three days in August in the history of WA. Great to see the rain, but the have a terrible drought in the Eastern States. We are having fun, and Marg has just turned &^ and does not look a day over 56, she has her mother's genes

City of Armadale Elections 21st October 2017 RANFORD WARD
Residents in the Lake Ward will remember when I was on Council before, I kept everybody up to date with regular bulletins, and solved many problems for residents.
