Autism = Super Power!!

Whether it’s connecting with horses, or having every teenagers ideal job - (teaching others the skill of playing Minecraft), Im always encouraged when clients are pursuing and achieving their goals and dreams.
Well done to this Champion. Best job ever!!

Every child, teenager, adult with disabilities have incredible strengths, potential and abilities to achieve!!

Such a great day at the .

So lovely to meet so many parents and carers who are truly the “unsung heroes”!! They are the ones that sacrifice their own dreams, self care, most struggling with burn out as they support and fight for what their child needs.

To all those I met today, it was an honour to hear your story of courage, resilience and love as you fight hard for what your child/ teenager or adult child needs. Such incredible human beings!!

My understanding from the media release is that its for early intervention 0-7 years and kids currently on ndis plans will continue under ndis arrangements. It’s very confusing, so it’s business as usual.

With a heavy heart we had to farewell the big gorgeous Louis on Sunday. Unfortunately he had to go into early retirement due to a permanent injury. He has been such a beautiful character, bringing lots of joy, love, laughter and cuddles to many. He has gone up north to big, open pastures where he will be a companion horse to many of the young horses and keeping them all in line!! He will be missed by all of us!!

Being around horses can lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels and increase oxytocin the (bonding hormone) which can improve mood and reduce anxiety. Horses help us humans in so many ways!!
