🌿 NDIS Roles Explained – Who Does What? 🌿

It can be confusing to know the difference between a Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator (LAC) and Plan Manager – here’s a simple breakdown 👇

🔹 Local Area Coordinator (LAC) – Helps you apply for the NDIS and set up your plan. They’re usually your first point of contact with the NDIA.

🔹 Support Coordinator – Helps you use your plan by connecting you with providers, organising supports, and building your independence.

🔹 Plan Manager – Helps you pay for your plan by managing invoices, tracking budgets, and giving you flexibility with providers.

✅ Simple way to remember:
LAC = Apply & Set up
Support Coordinator = Use it
Plan Manager = Pay for it

🌿🐑 Monday Kids Farm Hand Program 🐑🌿

Our little farmhands were hard at work today! 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾
From digging and exploring with metal detectors, to fishing by the water, to helping out with the animals – every activity was a chance to learn, grow, and have fun outdoors. 🌞✨

The kids loved working together, discovering new things, and of course meeting our newest farm babies 🐑💚

At Sanctuary Care, it’s all about building confidence, independence, and friendships while enjoying the fresh air and farm life. 🌱

Gretta is an incredible advocate for disability inclusion, a writer, presenter, and the creator of an innovative training program designed and delivered entirely by people with disabilities.
