This is the night where the veil between worlds becomes thin—where spirit draws close, where whispers are easier heard, and where we are invited to sit in the quiet knowing that life, death, and rebirth are eternally entwined.

Last night was LADIES NIGHT Reading Cinemas - Australia in Devonport ❤️

My horoscope said to expect an unexpected blessing that I wouldn’t see coming and I had no idea that the staff at the cinema were choosing best dressed for the evening. And when he said ‘the lady with the black dress on and blue shoes’, I knew that was me.

I love putting that extra effort in when I go out to events because ‘how often do we get to do that?’

And I had no idea there was a prize for best dressed.

So to say I’m chuffed is an understatement. I felt so seen.

Thank you Devonport Reading Cinema- you made my entire night.

It can feel a bit curious, even a little mysterious — and I’ve had a few people ask me why.

The truth is, the name Red Room carries associations far beyond what I do.

For many, it immediately links to the cultural phenomenon of Fifty Shades of Grey — a concept that has become widely recognised and, understandably, comes with its own assumptions.

But that’s not where my Red Room was born.

🌹 The Real Story Behind Red Room 🌹

My inspiration actually came from The Amityville Horror — specifically, the idea of the “Red Room.” A space that held energy, mystery, and depth. A place that wasn’t just physical… but symbolic.

Around that same time, I had a cigar room in my home — painted deep red.
That room became something else entirely.

It became my first workspace.
My first sacred space.
My first Red Room.

Red, for me, is not about shock value or controversy.

It is the colour of:

* The heart — connection, emotion, truth
* The base chakra — grounding, safety, survival, belonging

It represents both where we begin… and how we connect.

So when you see “Red Room Reiki & Readings,” you’re not stepping into something provocative.

You’re stepping into a space that was built with intention —
from a real room,
from real beginnings,
and from a deep respect for energy, healing, and transformation.
