I always love a good website that helps people understand how to build stronger, healthier bones. It starts in childhood by getting a good foundation but we can help our bones at any age. The Bone Health Foundation also strives to raise funds for research into better treatment, prevention and cures for musculoskeletal conditions. Check out their website for information

Every body needs healthy bones Like most people, you probably don’t really think about your bones until something doesn’t feel right. But bones do more than just keep everything in place. They provide support and structure, protect vital organs, help us move, and even store essential minerals. D...

I am always looking for information that easy for our clients to understand and access. Osteoporosis Australia has a new brochure out that includes the types of exercise that will help to maintain healthy bone density. Some of these are quite easy to do at home. Do remember however, before you start a new exercise program always consult a professional first. That is even more important if you already have low bone density or osteoporosis. Talk to your doctor or a qualified exercise physiologist.
