💭 A Story of Gears, Grit, and Giving 💭
Two weekends to go. 500 km in 5 days. Thailand. Hands Across the Water Hands Across the Water. A ride not just for me, but for the kids — to give them a lifestyle of choice.
Over the past few months, I’ve been training hard for this ride. What I’ve learned on the road has been more than physical — it’s been deeply personal, and surprisingly, a mirror of my journey in business and life.
When you're riding long distances, the secret isn’t just in strength. It’s in knowing when to shift gears. Flat road? One gear. Steep climb? Another. Wind at your face? Yet another. It’s not just effort — it’s strategy.
Business is exactly the same. You can't power through every challenge with the same tool. You have to read the terrain, apply the right strategy, surround yourself with the right people, and lean into proven methods. You need experience. And when the hill seems impossible, you stand up on the pedals — get off the comfort seat and dig deep.
But there’s one final gear. And it’s the one that always wins: your mind.
It’s when your body says “no more,” and your heart says, “we’re not done yet.”
That’s why I’m doing this ride — for the kids who never chose their conditions, but who, through Hands Across the Water with the Founder Peter Baines , are being given a future they can shift into. A future of dignity, hope, and choice.
🧡 This is your chance to be part of that. Your donation will go straight to giving these kids a better life — not a handout, but a hand up. It’s also tax-deductible.
