If you're considering surgery, one of the most empowering steps you can take is making informed decisions. That means understanding your options, asking questions, and feeling confident in the care you choose.

Here’s why informed choices are so important:
✔️ They help you understand what’s involved - before, during, and after surgery.
✔️ They ensure your expectations are realistic and aligned with your goals.
✔️ They allow you to feel supported, and in control of your journey.
✔️ They build trust between you and your care team.

We’re here to provide clear, honest information and support. Whether it’s your first appointment or you’re still exploring your options, your safety and understanding come first.

People rarely see the evening operating list.

Tonight’s case: 10 stuffed zucchinis, active surveillance of 3 children, some unidentified lunchbox contents I’m dreading to investigate, and a level one incident in the girls’ bedroom involving two junior consultants disputing bedtime protocol. And I think the baby just woke. 😂

Resources remain limited.
Send help.

This is rarely just about size.

Many patients present with concerns that relate to weight, distribution, and position, almost always alongside physical symptoms.

Breast reduction surgery can address these factors, where appropriate, with the aim of reducing symptom burden.

As always, this is individual and requires careful assessment.

We love hearing from you, but due to AHPRA guidelines, any comments that could be interpreted as testimonials will be deleted. We appreciate your understanding.

The result you see is never just my work.

These two are my absolute world at de Lune. Nurse Rachael and Skin Therapist Odelle are very much your partners in crime when it comes to everything around surgery and skin.

From the finer details - what time to arrive, when to fast, what medications to stop, to the more human side of things
“I’m feeling a bit anxious about tomorrow…” (yes, it happens!)

They’re there through it all.
And then into recovery - your LED, manual lymphatic drainage, and ongoing skin support as everything settles.

A lot of the care happens outside the operating theatre.
And these two are a big part of that.

It's not about changing who you are, but taking the time to approach things thoughtfully, and in a way that aligns with you.

Recovery after breast reduction surgery is a process, and no two journeys look the same.

This reel offers a gentle glimpse into the early recovery period, where our focus is on comfort, wound care, mobility, and supporting the body as it heals. Some swelling, bruising and temporary changes in sensation are common and expected parts of recovery, and progress occurs gradually over time.

At De Lune, our postoperative care is not an afterthought. It is a considered, personalised, and guided by your procedure, your body, and your needs. We aim to provide clear education and close follow-up at every stage.

If you are exploring breast reduction surgery, a thorough consultation is essential to discuss suitability, risks, recovery expectations and individual outcomes.

If you’re considering breast surgery, you may have come across two common procedures: Breast Augmentation and Breast Mastopexy (lift). While they can sometimes be performed together, they serve different purposes:

Augmentation involves the use of implants to increase volume or fullness. It’s often chosen by those looking to increase breast volume.

Mastopexy, or a breast lift, focuses on repositioning and lifting the breast tissue without adding volume.

The right approach depends on your goals, anatomy, and lifestyle. During your consultation, we’ll discuss all options openly so you can make an informed decision that feels right for you.
