Build Your Own Coping Kit 🧡

We all have moments where we feel anxious, low, or overwhelmed. Having a personal coping kit can help you self-soothe, ground yourself, and feel a little more in control during tough moments.

Here are a few simple items you might include:
- A grounding list or positive affirmations
- A playlist that calms you
- A scented lotion or essential oil
- A photo that makes you smile
- A small comforting object to hold

You can keep your kit in a small box, bag, or even saved digitally — whatever works for you. The goal is to have supportive tools ready when you need them most.

Helpful Tip of the Week: The 3-3-3 Rule for Anxiety 🧘‍♀️

Anxiety can feel overwhelming—but simple tools can make a big difference.

One technique we love is the 3-3-3 Rule.
It’s a quick and effective way to ground yourself in the present moment when anxiety strikes.

Here’s how it works:
- Look around and name 3 things you can see
- Listen and name 3 things you can hear
- Move 3 parts of your body—wiggle your toes, stretch your arms, roll your shoulders

This helps shift your focus away from anxious thoughts and brings your attention back to the here and now. It’s a small act of mindfulness that can help calm racing thoughts.
