Dear Participants,
We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your invaluable participation in our recent research study “Emotional Awareness Levels Based on the Perth Alexithymia Questionnaire (PAQ) for users of the NeuroCog® Mobile Application: A Correlation Study”.
Your commitment to this project has been instrumental in advancing our understanding of the NeuroCog® Mobile Application and its association with increasing emotional awareness. We truly appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to this endeavor.
Below is a summary of our findings:
- Mean time usage on the NeuroCog® Mobile Application and PAQ scores related to difficulties in describing feelings.
- The EmotionLog was associated with decreased overall score on the PAQ indicating an increase in emotional awareness, specifically in participants overall ability to identify their feelings.
- These preliminary findings show promising results for effectiveness of the NeuroCog® Mobile Application. Future research will be dedicated to further investigating the effects of the different exercises included in the app, in addition to exploring gender and age differences.
If you would like more information on the results, please do not hesitate to reach out to the student researcher, Andrea Le, on andrea.le@my.acap.edu.au and chief investigator, Dr. Stephen Wolfson on stephen.wolfson@acap.edu.au.
Warm regards,
Andrea Le
