HGP has been proud to be part of the Australian COVID-19 response by hosting and staffing a GP Respiratory Clinic.
This Australian Government initiative is ending, and the HGP Respiratory Clinic will close at the end of February 2023.

HGP will then return to “normal” and we will only be able to treat patients of the practice.
We will no longer be able to do PCR tests or respiratory assessments for the general public.
If you are not a patient of HGP, please contact your own GP for advice.

The new “normal” at HGP helps us protect our vulnerable patients, and our staff.

All patients will need to wear a mask while in the practice.

Patients with any respiratory symptoms are asked to do a Rapid Antigen Test [RAT].

If the RAT is positive, please contact our reception to arrange a Telehealth appointment.

If the RAT is negative, please contact reception at HGP to discuss how to proceed.
You may be advised to start with a Telehealth appointment.

If you have respiratory symptoms, and a face to face appointment is arranged, please wait outside and phone reception so we know you have arrived.
Do NOT come in to the practice until your doctor collects you from outside.

If you have not been able to do a RAT, if you develop respiratory symptoms after making an appointment, or if you have any questions at all, please contact reception to discuss the best and safest option for your care.

Remember, to protect our vulnerable patients, do NOT enter the practice if you have respiratory symptoms. Contact reception so we can safely manage your care.
