At the beginning of each month, I pause.
I sit with a cup of tea, a quiet moment, and whatever has been gently asking to be shared.

This is where I write A Note from Grace.
A heartfelt newsletter offering reflections, upcoming experiences, gentle practices, and invitations to come home to yourself.

If you’d like to receive this monthly note, I’d love to welcome you.

I’m feeling deeply grateful to be featured by the Australian Centre of Meditation & Mindfulness (ACMM) in their Graduate Profile.

This work has always been about creating gentle spaces for women to come home to themselves, and it means a lot to have that reflected back in this way.

If you’d like to read the article, I’ve shared the link below in the comments🤍

Season 2 is here.

This season is an invitation.
To soften the volume of the world.
To listen more closely to what’s already speaking within you.

✨ Season 2: The Season of Listening explores
• Listening to the body and its quiet intelligence
• Listening beneath anxiety, urgency, and mental noise
• Remembering that sometimes rest is wiser than effort
• Reconnecting with your inner rhythm, not the world’s demands

This season isn’t about fixing or striving.
It’s about attuning.
About noticing the subtle signals that guide us home to ourselves.

🎙 Episode 1 is now out
A gentle opening to the season, with reflection and a short guided mindfulness practice to help you turn down the noise and begin listening again.

If your nervous system has been asking for softness…
If your body has been whispering for attention…
This season is for you.

🎧 Listen now wherever you enjoy your podcasts
(And perhaps take it for a walk, a cup of tea, or a quiet moment just for you).

Today, there is nothing to fix.

No problem to solve.
No version of yourself to improve.

Just breath moving in and out.
Feet on the floor.
A nervous system quietly asking for kindness.

Healing doesn’t always arrive through effort.
Sometimes it arrives through listening.
Through resting long enough to hear what’s already true.

Today, I’m choosing gentleness.
And letting that be enough.

Today I choose rest as a form of listening.

Listening to the quiet signals beneath the doing.
To the body that whispers before it ever needs to shout.
To the heart asking for softness, not solutions.

Rest isn’t giving up.
It’s tuning in.
It’s choosing presence over pressure.
It’s honouring the wisdom that lives in stillness.

If today feels heavy, or tender, or simply slow…
let rest be your language of care.

What is your body asking for today?

Doing the things that bring us joy isn’t indulgent — it’s essential.

Moments like this, immersed in nature, laughing, feeling alive and present, remind us what our nervous system already knows: joy restores us. It softens the edges, steadies the breath, and brings us back into ourselves.

In a world that asks us to keep going, choosing joy is a quiet act of self-care. Whether it’s time in nature, stillness, sound, movement, or simply doing what lights you up — these moments matter.

May you give yourself permission to follow what brings you joy today 🤍

A Simple January Practice - https://youtu.be/qc4Z3Cxiz7M

This short sound-based meditation offers a simple pause to settle your nervous system, release what no longer needs to be carried, and create space for clarity and steadiness as the year unfolds.

Guided by the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls, this practice is designed to be accessible and grounding — whether you’re new to sound meditation or returning to a familiar rhythm. There’s nothing you need to do or fix; simply allow the sound to meet you where you are.

You may like to find a comfortable seated or lying position, close your eyes if it feels safe, and give yourself these few minutes to come home to yourself.

✨ A beautiful practice for the start of the year, moments of transition, or anytime you need to reset.

Hi my name is Grace.

My business is called A State of Grace Wellbeing.

I am a Wellbeing & Mindful Living Coach of Women.

I run a small wellbeing practice in the Blue Mountains focused on restorative experiences for women.

I do this work because so many women are living capable, outwardly full lives while feeling inwardly depleted. I create spaces where they can step out of responsibility, slow their nervous system, and remember what it feels like to rest without needing to explain or perform.

My work combines mindfulness and crystal sound healing, with a strong emphasis on nervous system calm and deep rest for women’s wellbeing.

I offer a few simple formats — mindful mornings, soulful day experiences, and private overnight stays — all designed for women who are busy, thoughtful, and often caring for others, and who are looking for a quieter, more sustainable way to restore themselves.

You’re welcome to explore the website when it feels right — everything is shared gently there www.astateofgrace.me

A nervous-system-centred start to the year

A steady, sustainable start to the year begins with the nervous system.

When we slow down — even in small, intentional ways — we give the body permission to settle, and from that settled place, clarity naturally emerges.

Rather than forcing energy through willpower, slowing down helps us conserve and restore it, allowing our attention, creativity, and intuition to return.

In a regulated state, decisions feel simpler, emotions feel more spacious, and our next steps reveal themselves without urgency.

This is not about doing less for the sake of it, but about creating the inner conditions where energy can flow with ease.

What I’m gently leaning toward

2025 was a big year for me — one that stretched me, asked hard questions, and invited deeper honesty than I expected.

Much of its impact happened quietly, beneath the surface, but it has left me clearer about what feels sustainable and true.

As I step into this year, I’m not feeling the need to define what comes next.

Instead, I’m gently leaning toward work that feels slower and more spacious, a rhythm that honours my nervous system, and ways of being and offering that come from presence rather than pushing.

I’m allowing myself to trust that clarity will continue to unfold as I listen, rest, and respond.

Wishing you a very happy new year. I’m so grateful you’re here, and I hope the year ahead brings you moment so lightness, deep connection, and a growing sense of trust in yourself and your path.

As we step into 2026, there is something quietly powerful in taking the time to clear and cleanse the spaces that hold our energy — our homes, our work, and even the corners of our minds.

Doing so is more than a ritual; it’s a way of creating room for what truly matters, releasing what no longer serves, and aligning ourselves with the energy we wish to carry forward.

Setting an intention after this clearing allows us to move into the year with clarity, steadiness, and a sense of purpose that feels both grounded and expansive.

It’s a practice of honouring what has been, welcoming what wants to arrive, and consciously choosing how we show up in our lives.
