Day 3 post Laser - with a medium depth peel

Like a snake shedding its skin 😂😂

Lesson learnt, follow your post care instructions:
For the next 24hrs
Refrain from hot showers, exercise, harsh cleansers and exfoliants.
• Only apply post treatment cream that is advised by your clinician.
• The treatment area should feel warm and tender for the next two days.

ALSO, FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS
• Avoid sun exposure and wear sun block daily (physical SPF preferred).
• Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion and Vitamin A.
• Mineral make up may be applied on the second day.
• You may notice tiny incrustation spots form which will fall off in due course (this can take up to two weeks).
• Please avoid scratching, picking and touching the area.
• Men should avoid shaving for 7 day

We have often joked together about looking ‘dewy’ post microneedling, laser, DMK enzyme, lactic acid peel treatments, well I had to share some laughs

Had to get this up there after I saw it 😂😂😂😜

Time to get DAF - book any of the above treatments and that is the effect, oh and stay hydrated 🤩🤩😍😜

Can also add in some ‘expression line relaxation’ and ‘moisture injections’ to get that extra DAF glow 🥳

2026 ramble

Business ownership is really tough and stressful and I’m so excited to be handing over the Business management reigns to the wonderful Jo.

You may not know but Jo has years of experience managing clinics as well as being one of the best skin therapists around and so she will bring all of her expertise to make the clinic wonderful and make your experience there so much better.

I’m also so grateful for Lauren who will be coming on as our clinic coordinator/front of house wonder and brings years of skin clinic management to her role.

So a huge thank you to these two amazing Women for doing what they do best!

Business ownership is so hard, so I’d love to gift a pamper session to someone you think deserves it - a local business owner doing it tough or who deserves some TLC - you can nominate yourself, tell us about your business, any hardships/challenges or nominate ate someone else.

Finally, I get to go back to doing what I love best - I was finding the Business side too stressful, it sparks no joy and then it means I don’t get to have fun doing what I enjoy most which is helping people, doing their treatments, catching up on their life, enjoying some banter and ideally making them feel great.

So, New Year, New me and back to seeing you in clinic for the selfish satisfaction it gives me to make you look and feel fresh and confident.

3 things to bring to your appointment:

1. Glasses - so you can read the questions and information and sign a valid consent form

2. Your Medicare card - No we don’t charge Medicare when you come for a facial or Cosmetic treatment, however if you are seen by Dr Katey to look at a skin spot, for advice about Acne, Rosacea etc then Medicare rebates may apply, important we have your details up to date

3. Bring all your skincare with you if you are having an initial consultation. It is always a surprise how many different things people are putting on their skin , with no idea what’s in it. We want to help you and having your skincare collection with you will help us give you advice and prescribe the right home treatment for you to either compliment (or sometimes replace) what you are using
