A fun day out with lots of laughs, and a competitive edge from some.
It’s safe to say that no injuries resulted in the making of these photos, and that we may need some more practice before the next event!

HPSM have been running Falls and Balance Classes (F&B) and are now expanding our timetable:

- Circuit class with up to 10 participants, led by a physiotherapist.
- Targets lower limb strength, balance, and body awareness.
- Low entry physical requirements: class can be completed sitting or standing based on individual need.
- Support person required for those unable to walk unassisted.
- Promotes physical fitness, confidence, social engagement.
- Evidence demonstrates that participating in physical activity for 60-90 minutes per week reduces fall risk, thereby reducing risk of serious injury, hospitalisations, and fall related complications.
- $ 20 per class or $175 for a 10 class pass.

If this sounds like something that would benefit you or a family member/friend, enquire about our new timetable today!

Introducing our new team member, Karl Freeman!

Karl is a sports chiropractor who diagnoses, treats and prevents musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those related to athletes and sports activities.
As a strength athlete of 8 years and a fully qualified strength and conditioning coach, Karl believes the best approach to healthcare requires a combination of manual therapy which may include gentle chiropractic techniques, dry needling and or massage (He has also done a remedial massage course) as well as a proper exercise prescription and program to get patients feeling strong, robust and mobile again.
Karl believes that an active & holistic approach is always better than a passive & inactive approach when it comes to healthcare.
Karl believes in the 80/20 approach to healthcare which is 20% of the time we should be giving pain relief to patients in the form of manual therapy and 80% of the healthcare should be dedicated to reclaiming lost function of the human body with exercise.

Karl also runs a Clinical Exercise class on Thursdays at 5pm.
Classes are filling fast, so ensure that you book your spot or appointment with Karl today!
