Last week at Yarra Valley Disability Services, our team came together to learn, connect and grow. It was a day filled with honest conversations, practical learning, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we love what we do.

A big thank you to our guest speaker for sharing her knowledge and lived experience as a mum of a child with a disability. Your perspective gave our team a deeper understanding, and we’re grateful for the insight that will help us continue to offer better support.

It’s Invisible Disabilities Week (19–25 October)! 🌻

Around 80–85% of people with a disability have one that isn’t visible. These include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health, and chronic conditions that aren’t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible — but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in making everyone feel seen and supported.
