Why did the wombat cross the road? Because this is its country and home and should be able to walk wherever the hell she wants 🥰I love the absolute innocence and trust ❤️despite the many years of road tolls, their bodies still remember the freedom and oneness with the land, the right to roam wherever they need… lead purely by sprint 🥹so precious 🙏🏽

🌟TOMORROW!!🌟FREE WAYAPA WUURRK SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS!!🌟

It’s such a wonderful treat and honour to have Trish Neville visit us, sharing her culture, knowledge, stories and joy through music, movement, puppetry and story telling… Trish is a Bunurong Elder, joining us all the way from the Peninsula to share her sacred wisdom as well as lots of play and love🖤💛❤️

I’ll be there, jammin it around the sun cycle with music and movement, then inviting children to step into a world of Wayapa sensory creation and connection through lots of experientials and nature-based sensory activities… set your dreams for the planet alight under our giant full moon parachute, and remember how necessary you all are on this planet, just as you are 🥰

These workshops are neuro friendly (Im a neuro diverse practitioner) and designed for children to see themselves and their world, through the sacred First Nations lens of Wayapa 💚👣🌷

🖤💛❤️we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which these workshops will be held - the Wurundjeri peoples, and acknowledge the 100,000 years of ongoing care, culture, wisdom and intelligence for the land that they behold. We respect and honour Elders past and present who continue to thrive and generously share, and our little future Elders who hold the worlds oldest living culture in their cellular memory, their bodies 🥰🙏🏽and all creatures, no matter their size or demeanour, who co create this planet, so that WE can share and enjoy 🐛🪱🐝🐞🦟🦉🐌🦋🕷🦎🦀🐳🐢🦈🦚🦜🐕🐾🦔🌞🌝

Some are born to fly close to the moon… who dare the chances, of soaring blatantly into darkness and vastness… the curiosity to feel and to know, what creeps, grows and dances in the shadows…
The greater the flight, the more the serious the risk… this doesn’t cause fear, for they seek only to reach the inextinguishable light… a moon so brave, it accepts its raise, lies still in the cradle, of an illuminating fire… it’s life belongs to stars, the greatest, it’s own reflection… and that is why we seek ascension, because we disperse and scatter, each and every dimension ⚡️

Neuro diversity, and work/rest/play… our perception challenges separation…
Because our perception is that play IS the “work”… rest IS the “work… and that “ work” is connection, interconnectedness and to “serve” generational wellbeing…
It is not merely to be industrial, but to be harmonious… to be joyful, peaceful, authentic… FREE ❤️
I remember now, what my point was about what my mum said… the land needs rest, so her people, creatures, plants and insects can play.. in that state, they grow and thrive… synchronised, a dance and song of love… forged in memory and origin…
To us, the notion of work, rest and play is intertwined, not separated or in a hierarchy of each other…
No, because everything we are is a mirror of nature, a mirror of ancestry and a mirror of our origin…
And nature is intertwined…
We don’t “do” separation, not from family, not from cellular memory, not from authenticity, not from nature and nor from our purpose…
To be human, on beautiful planet earth, birthed from stars, that were created from events that all occurred at once 😉🌟❤️

We are a synchronised dance, a movement in constant ebb and flow… if rest is the song then work is the dance …

The Mongol shaman and Sufi’s dance to find the medicine…

Dadirri rest to hear the earth, and respond…

Native Americans sit in their lodge to learn and listen…

All of these, to their own hearts, because it’s remembered that their heart beat is in sync with Hers 💓

Joy and peace is the work, and our cellular memory remembers this 💖

Our classroom today 💚there aren’t the rights for this place 🥹it’s beyond beauty, beyond peace, beyond presence… it’s the purest form of curiosity, connection and authenticity… it was my sons initiated learning and creation, that’s what country does… it reminds us… interestingly enough, millions of years ago this was ocean, we’re standing in the ocean… and his project atm is to create a water sanctuary collecting natural items and see how they co create oxygen and species… transformation and growth, through interconnectedness… his memory, always alive in his body 🙏🏽👣and for me? This is where the fairies still thrive 🥰🌼some things should never die..
I used to bring the kids here constantly growing up, children always return to where their heart grew ❤️ He’s wanting to help return what was and always will be, that’s his purpose and dream… we asked for permission and gave thanks to Traditional Custodians🖤💛❤️

I truly honoured to be sharing Wayapa with the wonderful Trish Neville, who is a proud Bunurong Elder, Early Years Practitioner, dancer and qualified kinder teacher! With years of delivering her amazing workshops filled with puppetry, movement, music making and culture under her belt, this is going to be a truly blessed opportunity for children and families to enjoy!
Then follow me into the sensory space filled with nature-based experientials for children to explore and express their own stories! Make a birds nest, a magical wand, a mystical labyrinth, a beautiful bouquet; and dance under the vastness of my blue parachute sky!
