Here I am, sitting in my little cucumber teepee 🥒🥒 asking my nine year old son to photograph me, so I can tell you all that I've WRITTEN A BOOK!!! It is cute, entertaining, light hearted, helpful for both the kid and the parent and.... it rhymes!!! 🥰🥰🥰🙌🙌🙌 It is all about giving your dummies to the Dummy Fairy and now I just need to find a way to get it published.

If anyone out there can point me in the right direction, if you have friends or contacts in the publishing world, or maybe you even know a children's author, I am all ears!!! Or maybe you'd love to read the book and let me know how I can make it better!! ✨️✨️✨️

Sending out my story to all the people this week and seeing where it takes me!! Wish me luck.

It is just SO nice to get that small feel-good dopamine kick when a new person enquires about the Dummy Fairy, because honestly, I'm still surprised that people actually want me to put on a pair of wings and take the dummies off their kids. 🤣🤣🤣

And then I wonder, how on earth have you found me?? I do no advertising and even my social media posts are few and far between... And yet somehow this week 3 families have gotten in touch thanks to just a simple google search. Thank you Google!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Yesterday I even got a call from a 3 year old as I was in the Aldi car park and had to quickly snap into character!! 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️

And it all makes sense... Of course now is a good time to say goodbye to the dummy because it is NOW that parent's are on annual leave and actually have the time to address these wonderful but also annoying dummies!
What a great business insight this is!! I love this stuff!!

I knew the wedding industry so well, I could predict things, explain things, reason with things.... All of this extremely helpful knowledge that comes with time and experience is slowly piecing itself together for me now in this new field and I'm so there for it!

I don't have too many goals for this year except do lots more fairy gigs because they are SO FUN! And there's also that children's book that I actually finished drafting TODAY!! 🙌🙌✨️✨️....
So watch this space I guess ✨️✨️✨️ It's looking exciting, unexpected and joyous.

So this time of year I usually let Santa have his moment to shine with the clever parents who need a bit of help dummy-wise..... And then I thought, hold on a minute, I am actually a better deal than I was giving myself credit for!
Move over Santa, the is a way better option if you're hoping to say goodbye to the dummies this silly season!

Recieved the cutest collection of cards, drawings, Fairy dust AND individually gift wrapped dummies yesterday from little miss Aurora who so kindly thought that each new little baby deserved to have their new dummy delivered this way 🥰🥰✨️✨️✨️😅
Too too cute! I also visited an equally gorgeous Isla on her 3rd birthday so this busy Fairy collected a whopping 16 dummies yesterday!! So so good!!!

I bet so many people out there have a little monkey just like Mr Blake! Does this sound familiar? They are totally weaned off the dummy when they're at Daycare and as soon as you pick them up, in goes the dummy and you both just can't break the habit!
Well this little monkey said goodbye to the dummy once and for all last week and its been smooth sailing ever since. If they can manage OK at care and during nap time without it, I dare say they've got the tools already to cope without the dummy at home! Thank you so much Jac, Chris & Blake for inviting me over XX

Pretty quickly into this Fairy Business I realised that it was actually the parents who need a Fairy more than the kids! 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️ It was the parents who needed a solution to the problem, a Fairy who could step in and make the dummy disappear! It REALLY helps too when a kid has changed their mind and wants the dummy back, the parents can blame the Fairy and be like "Sorry darling, the Fairy has taken them away!" 😂👌👌👌

Just like some may wish for a cleaning Fairy✨️🫧🪣 or a shopping & cooking Fairy 🛒🍽, I am thrilled to be of service as the "TAKE THIS DUMMY AWAY" Fairy 😂🙌🙌
It's just an added bonus that the kids love it too! Xx

Just finished a Fun Fairy Video call with little Charlie who is posting me ALL of her (& her younger brother's) dummies this morning. 💛💛💛
Fun fact: Charlie is now my most popular customer name, having visited 3 Charlie's now this past year!

Today I attended this great little talk at Ferntree Gully Library with my Fred in tow. Very enlightening, learning all about how to get a book published, the pros and cons of getting an agent etc.
Then we borrowed all these books for some great writing inspiration. 🥰🥰🥰
The more I'm learning, the bigger the challenge of writing a Children's Book appears... Luckily I've got all the time in the world and lots and lots of opportunities to read to my boys, to see what feels good! So far, the Three Little Monkeys is a crowd favourite at our house!

What a good quote! My take on this is -well yeah, you can just take a dummy off a child and never give it back to them.... but logic wont get you these magical lasting memories that actually make the experience joyful! 👌🙌🧚‍♀️💕
