As a fertility and women’s health acupuncturist, one of the greatest honours of my work is supporting women after their babies arrive

Not just while they’re trying to conceive or during pregnancy

And yes… sometimes that support includes baby snuggles 🥰

(Let’s be honest here, it’s one of the best parts of the job!)

At , we lovingly encourage women to continue their care in the postnatal period

Sometimes that means bringing your little one along to your appointment

And you are always so welcome to do so

So much of the fertility journey is focused on TTC and pregnancy

But once baby arrives earthside, the attention naturally shifts to bubs

And oftentimes mum’s health, her recovery, hormones, mood and wellbeing moves lower down the list of priorities

We are here to remind you, wholeheartedly:

You matter too 💖

Any woman who’s had to seek support in diagnosing a health issue will likely be able to tell you:

That oftentimes, women’s voices are ignored.

Symptoms, pain, discomfort, fatigue are minimised.

There is a long history of women’s health concerns being dismissed by the health system,

Leaving women to suffer for extended periods before receiving a diagnosis and proper treatment.

This is Not Good Enough.

I encourage women to use their voice when seeking health support. This might look like:

Reassuring them that their symptoms are not normal, not just a part of getting older, that they are not being too sensitive

Preparing a list of questions or concerns to raise

Getting support to know what tests to ask for, and how to ask for them

Reminding them that their healthcare provider is working for them, that they have the right to be heard and receive appropriate care

And supporting them in finding a provider who will take their health concerns seriously 💪🏻

When you are working with me, I will support you through this. I will give you the tools to advocate for yourself.

I am a women’s health acupuncturist.

I will listen to your health concerns, and will hear your voice.

I will work with you to help you feel better.

I will believe you.

La dolce far niente

The sweetness of doing nothing

This is one of my focusses in my personal life for 2026

To bask in the sweetness of the moment

To take time to rest and be still

To savour the pleasure in life

2026 is the year of the Fire Horse in Chinese astrology 🐎

And for me, as someone born in the year of the Rooster, it’s set to be a big year: dynamic action, lots of expansion and with that, lots of work 💪🏻

Therefore, it’s key for me to counterbalance the Yang dynamism with adequate Yin repose

This is me, taking in the Berlin summer sunshine on Neuer See in Tiergarten last year 🥰

THIS is the dolce far niente vibe I’m cultivating this year

I’m thrilled with the first Christmas celebration!

Since opening earlier this year, I’ve witnessed my little clinic grow and expand 💗

And I couldn’t have done it without these two:

My fantastic husband who’s helped with fit-out to hanging Christmas lights and everything in between,

(and I mean everything… patients love how beautiful and soothing the clinic is- it may be my vision, but it is 💯 his grunt work that put it all together 💪🏻)

And who took such good care of the clinic and my patients while I was adventuring around Germany, and who has continued offering her magic to the Empress Acupuncture community since then

Thank you as well to Adrien and the team at for the most delicious meal 😋

The clinic has been growing and expanding through this year, and I’m so excited to see what’s next ❤️

In my 20’s I heard an ad on the radio for my natural medicine university, and something in my heart said ‘yes’

I’m so glad I listened to my heart that day!

And I’m so grateful I found my way to Chinese medicine!

It’s the source of so much wonder and joy, it’s given me the freedom to create the life that I desire and it’s endlessly interesting 💕

These past few weeks have been intensely busy!

I’ve pushed far beyond my comfort zone, and while it has been a *lot* 🙃 it’s also been super rewarding

My beautiful clinic is growing and it’s so exciting!

As a counterbalance to the dynamic Yang energy I’ve been playing with, yesterday I took a day of supreme self care:

✨Yoga with my one of my very favourite yogis .health_

✨A divine acupuncture treatment

✨ And a Sound Healing session facilitated by the gifted

✨Accompanied by a very good girlfriend (after we zen-ed out we had the best chats, sitting in the carpark 😅)

I’m feeling so restored and ready for another full week 🤗

And I feel very grateful to have such beautiful people around me

The community in the hills is a true gift ✨
