โœจ Support Sessions with Grace โœจ

We started with a lovely walk to Coles to grab some fresh bread ๐Ÿฅ– Along the way, we took our time, enjoyed the fresh air, and even picked some beautiful flowers ๐ŸŒธ โ€” such a special way to connect with nature and slow things down.

After that, we spent some relaxing time in the pool while listening to Disney music ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ฆ Grace absolutely loved it โ€” combining music with sensory play created such a calm and happy space.

To finish off, we got creative with a craft activity, making feather wings for a butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹โœจ This was a wonderful way to support imagination, creativity, and fine motor skills.

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’œ World Health Day ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒ

Today is a reminder that health is more than just physical โ€”
itโ€™s emotional, mental, and social wellbeing too.

For the individuals we support, health can look different every dayโ€ฆ
and thatโ€™s okay ๐Ÿ’œ

โœจ Taking time to rest
โœจ Feeling safe and supported
โœจ Being heard and understood
โœจ Celebrating small wins
โœจ Having access to the right care

These are all part of what true health looks like.

At Supportive Pathways, I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, supported, and meaningful life โ€” in a way that works for them ๐ŸŒฟ

Letโ€™s continue to support, uplift, and advocate for inclusive health for all.

๐ŸŒธ Welcome back after the Easter break ๐ŸŒธ

We hope everyone had a safe, restful and enjoyable Easter long weekend ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ’›

Whether your weekend was filled with family time, fun activities, or simply taking a moment to slow down and recharge โ€” we hope it brought you what you needed ๐ŸŒฟ

As we step back into the week, weโ€™re looking forward to continuing to support, connect and create meaningful moments with our participants ๐Ÿ’œ

A gentle reminder that itโ€™s okay to ease back into routine โ€” take it one step at a time ๐ŸŒˆ

Hereโ€™s to a positive week ahead โœจ

๐ŸŒฟ Good Friday Reflection ๐ŸŒฟ

Today is a time for pause, reflection and compassion ๐Ÿ’œ

Good Friday reminds us of the importance of kindness, patience, and being there for one another โ€” especially during difficult or quiet moments ๐ŸŒธ

In the work we do, these values are present every dayโ€ฆ
Supporting, listening, and showing up in ways that matter ๐Ÿ’ซ

Whether today is a day of reflection, rest, or simply taking things slow, we hope everyone is able to find a moment of peace and connection ๐Ÿ’•

Thinking of all those who may be doing it tough, and sending extra care their way today ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿฃ And just like thatโ€ฆโ€ฆWe hop into the Easter long weekend!๐Ÿฐ

As we head into this long weekend, itโ€™s a time that brings both joy and reflection ๐Ÿ’›

While many are celebrating and spending time with loved ones, our thoughts are also with those doing it a little differently this year โ€” especially going through a tough time ๐Ÿ’œ

Itโ€™s a gentle reminder to slow down, check in on one another, and hold our people a little closer โ€” near or far ๐Ÿ’•

We hope this long weekend brings moments of rest, comfort, and connection to everyone, in whatever way that looks for you ๐ŸŒธ

Wishing you all a safe, peaceful and gentle Easter ๐Ÿฃ

๐Ÿ’™ World Autism Awareness Day ๐Ÿ’™

Today we recognise and celebrate World Autism Awareness Day โ€” a day to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum ๐ŸŒ

Autism is not something that needs to be โ€œfixedโ€ โ€” it is a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world ๐Ÿ’ซ

Every individual is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, personalities and ways of communicating. As support workers, families, and communities, our role is to listen, learn, and create environments where every person feels safe, valued and understood ๐Ÿ’œ

In my work, I am constantly reminded that progress looks different for everyone โ€” and thatโ€™s okay. Whether itโ€™s a smile, engagement in an activity, or expressing emotions, every small moment is something to celebrate ๐ŸŒˆ

Letโ€™s continue to move beyond just awareness and towards true acceptance, inclusion and support โ€” not just today, but every day ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸฃStart of Easter Holidays๐Ÿฃ

Today was such a beautiful and rewarding afternoon ๐Ÿ’›

We spent some time gifting Easter presents, which brought so much excitement and joy! ๐Ÿฃ

Callan really enjoyed completing a colour-by-number activity. This supported his learning by helping him recognise numbers, identify colours, and build matching skills in a fun and engaging way ๐ŸŽจ

Grace also had a lovely time colouring using her โ€œI am lovedโ€ stencil ๐Ÿ’• With a little support, she was able to engage in the activity while reinforcing positive emotions and self-worth.

It was especially heartwarming to see Grace showing clear signs of happiness this afternoon โ€” lots of smiles and positive engagement ๐Ÿฅฐ

I think the excitement of it being the last day of school before the holidays definitely added to the joy and relaxed energy of the day ๐ŸŒˆ

Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of how small, meaningful activities can support emotional wellbeing, learning, and connection ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’œ Learning About Love ๐Ÿ’œ

This evenings support was extra special ๐Ÿ’ซ

Grace recently celebrated her birthday on the 24th, and today I had the chance to give her one of her gifts โ€” a beautiful book all about love ๐Ÿ’œ

Tonight, we sat together before bed and read through the story. Grace was so calm, happy, and engaged โ€” looking closely at all the pictures and taking it all in. Moments like this are so special, as we continue to support her in understanding emotions and what it means to feel loved.

We also continued with her bedtime routine, reading her affirmation cards to help her feel safe, supported, and reminded just how loved she truly is before she goes to sleep ๐ŸŒ™

Itโ€™s the small, consistent moments like these that build connection, trust, and emotional understanding โ€” and I feel so grateful to be part of her journey ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’œ Epilepsy Awareness ๐Ÿ’œ

Today we raise awareness, understanding, and support for those living with epilepsy.

For me, this is something very close to my heart. One of the beautiful young people I support, Grace, lives with Rett syndrome, a condition that often includes frequent seizures.

While this brings daily challenges, it also highlights just how strong, resilient, and brave she is every single day.

As support workers, carers, and families, itโ€™s not just about managing seizures โ€” itโ€™s about creating a safe, calm, and supportive environment where our participants feel secure, understood, and empowered.

๐Ÿ’œ Epilepsy doesnโ€™t define a person
๐Ÿ’œ Awareness creates understanding
๐Ÿ’œ Understanding creates inclusion

Letโ€™s continue to educate, support, and advocate for a more inclusive world.

๐Ÿ€ Happy St Patrickโ€™s Day from Supportive Pathways! ๐Ÿ€

Today is a wonderful reminder of the power of luck, kindness and community ๐Ÿ’š

In the world of disability support, we know that sometimes itโ€™s not luck that changes lives โ€” itโ€™s support, understanding, and people who genuinely care. Every day i feel incredibly lucky to walk alongside the amazing individuals and families we support.

May your day be filled with smiles, positivity, and a little bit of Irish luck ๐Ÿ€โœจ

Remember:
Sometimes the luckiest thing in life is simply having someone who believes in you and supports your journey.

๐Ÿ’œ Daily Reminder โ€“ Feeling Loved Matters ๐Ÿ’œ

Sometimes the most powerful support we can give someone isnโ€™t something big โ€” itโ€™s simply helping them feel loved, safe, and valued.

When a child or participant feels loved, they are more confident to explore their emotions, express themselves, and build trust with the people around them.

Love can look like:
โœจ Being patient
โœจ Listening without judgement
โœจ Encouraging their voice
โœจ Creating safe routines
โœจ Reminding them they matter

Every small moment of kindness and reassurance helps build emotional strength and confidence.

Everyone deserves to feel loved. ๐Ÿ’œ
