To support you in these situations, we offer a limited number of same-day urgent appointments. These are allocated on the day and may be with any available doctor—not necessarily your regular GP. These appointments are charged as a regular GP visit.

As these appointments can fill quickly, it’s important to be aware of alternative options. Urgent care clinics are available for walk-ins at Corrimal, Bulli, and Caringbah.

Did you know that STD rates are at one of the highest they’ve ever been? Condoms can help fix this. They are one of the most effective methods of preventing STDs and pregnancy during s*x.

Each year, Mardi Gras celebrates the self-expression, community and passion of the LGBTQI+ community. This celebration famously includes the Sydney Gay and Le***an Mardi Gras Parade on February 28, but also a range of other festivals, parties and events.

It highlights the importance of continuing to fight for equality for the LGBTQI+ community. Mardi Gras works to eliminate the discrimination, prejudice and stigma that exists for this community.

Repeat prescriptions and referral generally take 2-5 days to be completed, depending on doctor availability. This service will incur a fee from $29.21.

We are so excited to have Catherine Ryan joining our clinical team at Equilibrium Healthcare as a Clinical Psychology Registrar. Catherine brings a wealth of life and professional experience, having worked in private practice, hospital settings, and in Indigenous health.
She enjoys working with adolescents and adults, with special interests in anxiety, PTSD, low mood, s*xual health & s*xuality, and trauma.

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It is a month aimed to raise awareness about the symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer to reduce mortality and advocate for increased research funding.
Symptoms for ovarian cancer can be vague and/or attributed to other health conditions, such as menopause or IBS. Common symptoms include unusual bloating, fatigue, lower back pain, irregular menstrual bleeding or changes in bowel or bladder patterns.
