A clinically validated natural remedy for joint inflammation...

For centuries, breastfeeding mothers and arthritis patients have used Cabbage Leaves to reduce swelling. Doctors dismissed it as a "placebo" or just a "cooling effect." They were wrong.

A groundbreaking study identified a specific plant microRNA (miR172a) in cabbage. The Mechanism: When you crush the leaf and apply it to the skin, these tiny genetic messengers are not blocked. They can pe*****te. Once inside, they bind to a gene in your body called FAN (Factor Associated with Neutral sphingomyelinase). By binding to it, the cabbage microRNA literally silences the gene responsible for triggering inflammation.

It is Cross-Kingdom Gene Regulation. A plant gene is turning off a human inflammation gene. Studies show it is as effective as Diclofenac (Voltarén) gel for Osteoarthritis, without the side effects.

⚡ Vital Advice: The Activation:

Use Savoy or Red Cabbage (high anthocyanins).

CRUSH IT: This is mandatory. Use a rolling pin or wine bottle to break the cell walls and release the juices (and RNAs).

Wrap the joint. Cover with plastic to create a greenhouse effect.

Leave for 2 hours. Nature is not just food; it is information.

We’re proud to support Arthritis Australia’s campaign to raise awareness of fibromyalgia, a chronic condition that affects over a million people in Australia.

Physiotherapists can assist by developing a personalised activity program that is just right for you. The program will include activities that you enjoy and that you feel safe doing and may include well-paced aerobic and strengthening activities.

No two presentations of Fibromyalgia are the same, but if we work together, you might be surprised at just how much change in your function and pain you can achieve.

Arthritis Australia’s 'Taking Control of Your Fibromyalgia' booklet offers evidence-based insights, expert tips, and support to help you live well with fibromyalgia. APA Titled Musculoskeletal and Pain Physiotherapist Dr Carolyn Berryman MACP, contributed as an expert advisor to the document, sharing deep knowledge about the role of physiotherapy for people with fibromyalgia.

It is hard to see women of all ages suffering unnecessarily. We see it everyday in our clinic. If you are suffering with perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms please seek help, information and advice. From a physiotherapy viewpoint this can support our management of the musculoskeletal symptoms of menopause.

This clip interviewing Dr. Attia summarises it well.

✨ Women—start exercising now to support your body through the menopausal years! ✨
Building an exercise routine before you reach menopause can make a huge difference later. Once you enter postmenopause, your hormone levels become low and stable—and new research published this month in Exercise and Sports Sciences Reviews shows that regular exercise can help offset the effects of estradiol(a hormone made naturally in the ovaries) loss by activating similar molecular pathways as estrogen.
In short: Staying active helps protect your health during postmenopause.

But here’s the catch:
👉 Delaying physical activity until well into menopause makes exercise less effective.
So if you haven’t built the habit yet, now is the perfect time to begin! But better always remember late than never!

If you’re already consistently active (moderate to high activity levels), here are some targeted tips to keep you strong and thriving:

💪 Lift heavy—rest more: Recovery takes longer now. Adjust volume, not intensity.
⚡ Prioritise power & mobility: Explosive movements, pilates, & yoga support balance & strength
🤝 Stay social & structured: Train with others, follow a plan, and track how you feel.

🎯 Your goals: Maintain strength. Prevent decline. Stay mobile and mentally sharp.
