Starting next week our accredited Exercise Physiologist Ben will be commencing our balance and strength group class in the Maryborough clinic 😍. This class is suited to clients wishing to improve strength, balance and wellbeing.

The cost is $27.50 per class however you will need a 1 on 1 appointment with Ben initially to make sure the class is right for you and go through the exercises 💪

If you are interested in attending give our Maryborough clinic a call on 4132 2933, make sure you let us know if you have a My Aged Care package, private health insurance, DVA card or GP Care Plan and we can let you know what costs are covered.

We are a multi-disciplinary allied health service and have an immediate opportunity for a motivated and skilled administration officer with high quality communication and interpersonal skills to join our team.

A𝐛o𝐮t Y𝐨u:
🌟Enthusiastic and motivated
🌟Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team while completing admin tasks autonomously
🌟Accurate data entry and computer skills with demonstrated time management and organisational skills
🌟Prior health services experience preferable
🌟Prior experience in NDIS and or Aged Care processes/documentation considered a significant advantage
🌟Experience with practice management software highly regarded
🌟Ability to work extra hours if needed
🌟Ability to work in either our Hervey Bay or Maryborough Clinics as needed

G𝐞n𝐞r𝐚l d𝐮t𝐢e𝐬:
🔵Front reception meet and greet
🟠Scheduling patient appointments in accordance with office guidelines
🟢Creating and maintaining patient electronic files
🟡Creation of NDIS service agreements
⚪️Processing payments/invoices through various means
🔴General office administration duties

This role is 𝐏e𝐫m𝐚n𝐞n𝐭 𝐏a𝐫t-t𝐢m𝐞 starting at 22.5 hours per week. As the clinical team continues to expand, there may be an opportunity for the permanent hours to increase.

Compass Rehab has now opened a paediatric/occupational therapy space located at 5-21 Madsen Rd, Urraween. This space is designed to be child & family friendly fitted with gross motor and fine motor skill building equipment to support your child’s capacity building needs 💪🏼 . Our team is also able to assist adolescents and adults with individual therapy rooms available.

Introducing our newest staff members to the Compass Rehab Team! Aivory and Trisha are occupational therapists who have many years of experience and are here to provide services to the local Fraser Coast community, both being based at our Hervey Bay and Maryborough clinics 😍

𝐀𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐲 has over six years of experience in both paediatric and adult care, specialising in neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017, followed by a Master of Arts in the same field in 2022, and achieved certification as a US-Certified Autism Specialist in 2023. Before pursuing a career in occupational therapy, Aivory studied Architecture for a year, a background that significantly benefits her in home modifications. Aivory is deeply passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities, supporting their engagement, growth, and sense of belonging within their communities.

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2019 and has four years of experience in both hospital and community therapy settings. Trisha specialises in adolescent, adult, and geriatric care, with additional experience in paediatric cases. She is passionate about supporting clients holistically and is committed to quality and collaborative care, fostering client growth. At Compass Rehab, Trisha is on a mission to make a measurable impact on clients lives through skill-building and social inclusion.

Our primary focus is on neurological rehabilitation though we aim to target areas of health which are of interest to our team. Located in the heart of the medical precinct, our practice is growing, and we are looking for a Certified Allied Health Assistant or physiotherapy/occupational therapist/exercise physiologist student to join the team.

Our Balance & Strength Class will run weekly and is designed for individuals of all physical capabilities with a prominent focus on the aged care population, it is an exercise class focused on improving overall strength, balance and well-being.
