Meet Patrick | Transportation Care Ross Funerals.

With six years of dedicated service at Ross Funerals, Patrick Goodall plays a vital role in transporting loved ones to the funeral home and supporting families during services. A former Police Officer in both New Zealand and Queensland, he brings care, respect, and calm professionalism to every aspect of his work.

Patrick values being part of a friendly, supportive team and takes pride in helping families through difficult times. Outside of work, Pat enjoys tinkering with his hot rods and barracking for the All Blacks Rugby Union Team.

You’re warmly invited to our Christmas Memorial Service 2025 at Ross Funerals Hervey Bay Chapel on Sunday, 14 December at 5:00pm. This reflective service is a chance to honour those we love and miss, share a moment of peace, and light the season with their memory. 🕯

After the service: light refreshments will be served.

A special keepsake: each family will receive a personalised Christmas bauble featuring a photo of their loved one. Please email your photo to info@rossfunerals.com.au when you RSVP so we can prepare your keepsake.

Nicholas (Nic) Hutton, BA & BSc, is a qualified embalmer with over 10 years of experience in the funeral industry. He finds deep purpose in supporting families through difficult times and takes pride in honouring and celebrating each unique life. Nic is known for his compassionate approach and attention to detail.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the beach, practicing karate, watching movies, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Late of Hervey Bay. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 8th November 2025. Aged 86 years. Loved wife of the Late Jack. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Wayne & Ann-Maree, Garth & Sandra, Shawn, Aiden, Lance & Kim and Kerry & Maria. Shirley adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Warren and Phyllis (dec’d) and half-sister of Garry and Robin.

Family and friends of Shirley are invited to attend her funeral service to be held at
the Fraser Coast Crematorium & Bayside Memorial Gardens, 18 Nikenbah Dundowran Road, Hervey Bay on Wednesday, 19th November 2025 commencing at 12:00 pm. Following the service Shirley will be privately interred at the Polson Garden of Rest Cemetery, Point Vernon.

Joshua Harris has five years of experience in the funeral industry, beginning in mortuary care before transitioning into his current role as a Funeral Director. He brings compassion and dedication to supporting both the deceased and their families during challenging times.
