People forget they want money but they aren't willing to let go of money. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

This was something I had to work with deeply when I started in business. Like wow, those money stories hit ya where it hurts most🤯

So, Let’s get real.

Investment is 100% necessary if you want to get ahead.

If you are hell bent on hanging onto your money (that’s currently not making you money), then how are you going to have more money?

It’s just like going round in the same circle but wondering why things haven’t changed.

Do you know what you need to change?

Your money stories

So I’m going to say it louder for people in the back…

If you want more money, you need to be willing to let go of money. That’s how it works. 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Old ideas are your biggest liability

Can anyone relate to this? Hands up in the comments if you know what your money stories are…

(And if the story goes something like “I’m broke” or “I ONLY have this much money” we need to chat > you’ll find me ready to deep dive with you in my DMs). 💸 💸 💸

Hear some of story around what started us living a healthier, lower tox life.

We’ve changed many things in the past decade, but my number one piece of advice is that “you don’t have to make a lot of changes to start”.

Swap one thing & go from there. You’ll slowly integrate more options & before you know it you’ve changed a lot.

Stay tuned for Part II ✌🏻

Vulnerability is a common experience or feeling that many clients have reported on when it comes to entering a space to work on themselves or work through an experience that showed up in their life.

Vulnerability can shows up in ways like:
“I am really struggling with how I see myself or what has happened here, so giving attention to that couldn’t possibly be helpful”.
“What will that person think of me when I share these things about me or my life”.
“I’ll work on that discomfort later”.

We can very quickly talk ourselves out of seeking the help we need & that means we may continue to go alone in our struggles.

The truth is everyone can feel vulnerable. Especially when it comes to spaces that rely on human communication, engagement and connection. We potentially worry about the judgement that comes from these encounters. Hence why vulnerability can also show up as nervousness, reluctance or avoidance.

As a person seeking support, sitting in the vulnerability can allow you to seek the support. The “lean in” on feeling vulnerable can be mighty rewarding. This is where acceptance, growth and healing can stem from.

Psychologists or anyone in helping profession industries need to sit in their own vulnerabilities to allow them to keep helping people. We aren’t experts in everything & we don’t always know what we will be faced with in a therapeutic space. By sharing this we pave the way on normalising feelings of vulnerability & taking a risk every time we lean in to offering support. Some days our roles are hard & it can be challenging. The truth is if we don’t allow the space for vulnerability we wouldn’t experience the human connection our profession relies on. We wouldn’t be able to help people if we didn’t lean in on feeling vulnerable.

Sometimes it will be the risk you take that changes you as a person & it might even change parts of your life too. So, next time you might be feeling vulnerable about showing up & working on yourself just remember that the person aiming to help you might be feeling a little vulnerable too.

We welcome vulnerability here.

Hi & welcome 👋🏻

My name is Lea & I’m an Australian based Psychologist based on the Fraser Coast in Queensland. We have launched a Telehealth Psychology Clinic, so the cool thing is: we can support people Australia wide.

Our mission is to help people feel the empowerment that comes with investing in themselves, because we truly believe that change, growth & healing emerges when we face some of our deepest wounds, fears or areas of discomfort.

There is something special in people’s willingness to share parts of who they are & their life experiences. Its an incredible privilege to witness stories unfold & to hold a safe space for people. This is the part that we never take for granted.

So if you’ve found yourself here, it’s not a bad thing. We are actually pretty psyched up you’ve found our space. We are hoping that overtime more people will see the true value of investing in themselves & in their life. So because of this we appreciate the bravery, courage & vulnerability it takes to step into a space of personal reflection & healing. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. Something I always say is we choose our hard. It’s hard to stay where we are & sometimes it’s hard to step into something that might make us alittle bit uncomfortable initially.

We are experienced to provide support with a range of personal difficulties & different life experiences, but we hold a special interest in working with cancer, chronic disease, death & dying, as well as grief & loss. We often find ourselves supporting you through more than one thing when you enter a space like ours for support. Humans are beautifully complex & so is life.

At this stage we will be reserving our services for people who are 18+. There are plans for a physical clinic in time & we will look to work with children if this unfolds.

We are now taking bookings & would love to work with you if our services are able to support your needs. ✨

Creating a place for connection is why we are here.

Our mission is to help as many people as we can. We have been working in organisational settings for quite a few years but are well aware of the demand in the community for people find to professional connections & access support.

Psych Up Therapies was created as a Telehealth clinic to extend the support we can provide.

There is a huge demand for people seeking psychological support, now more than ever. It’s hard enough to ask for help but the wait times can lead to people missing the help they need.

We hope that we become a space that minimises the feeling that people need to go it alone, when they are struggling with parts of themselves or are struggling with parts of life.

We hope that you realise when you are hurting, human interaction & connection can be healing.

If you have found yourself here, welcome. We will be sharing more about our services & the support we offer really soon.
