We’re so proud to share that we’ve matched what last year’s incredible Katastrophy Wives raised for the Dunga Derby 👏

A huge milestone for our team and something we don’t take lightly. Following on from such an amazing legacy means so much to us.

But… we’re not stopping there 👀

With another event still to come and plenty of time left in the season, it’s safe to say we’ll be setting a new goal — and we’re ready to go even bigger.

It’s official – the time has come for the Katastrophy Wives to hang up their pink boots! After 10 years of fun and fundraising for the Dunga Derby by Rally for a Cause our team time has come to an end.

Our beloved Lady Penelope will continue to be a big part of the Dunga Derby! She has been lovingly handed over to the boys from team “HOONiCORNS”. Look after her Scott, Jason, Tim & Peter and she will serve you well! It makes us so happy that these fellas are also taking on our legacy of fundraising as best they can to support the charity that means so much to us - & they are already smashing it! They are also continuing some of our fundraising events including the High Tea, so make sure you keep up to date with them and follow their page too 🩷 Dunga Derby - Hoonicorns - Car #10 🩷

Whilst a little sad (there may be tears on the 2026 departure day!) there are also a couple of things we are most proud of: -

1. Being part of the Dunga family! As a team we formed an unbreakable bond and as a part of the extended Dunga family we made some lifetime friendships. While no longer participating as a team, we are also not going anywhere and will continue to support the event and current teams as much as we can.

2. Over the 10 years from 2016 to 2025 the Kat Wives raised a staggering $276,254 for the Rally for a Cause charity. We know personally how these funds have contributed to helping families in the community when they needed it most! This achievement was only made possible by our generous band of loyal sponsors, donors and event supporters – so for that we say, “THANK YOU”.

We will see you around but for now - Kat Wives, over and out!
