👩‍⚕️ About Dr Priya
Dr Priya is a highly experienced doctor from India, holding an MBBS and a Master’s degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, along with fellowship training in Minimal Access Surgery.

With over 14 years of clinical experience, she has worked extensively across India and Australia, including Melbourne, Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Her background also includes General Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics, allowing her to care for patients across all age groups.

With a strong foundation in general medicine, cardiology, and emergency care, Dr Amin provides thorough, patient-centred consultations. Prior to joining Queensland Health, he worked across general medicine, cardiology, and intensive care, gaining broad experience in the management of both acute and complex medical conditions.

Each year in Australia, around 1,900 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Tragically, in most cases the disease is diagnosed at an advanced stage, when it is much more difficult to treat.

That’s why awareness matters. At Family First Medical Centre, we’re committed to helping ensure every Australian knows more about ovarian cancer and its early symptoms.

🔹 Why awareness is critical
Only 31% of Australians know that ovarian cancer has the poorest survival rate of any female cancer in Australia. This devastating disease continues to face a lack of awareness and research progress — and that needs to change.

💙 This Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, we are committed to:
• Educating our community with evidence-based information
• Advocating for more research funding, policy reform, and improved access to affordable treatments
• Elevating the voices and real-life stories of women impacted by ovarian cancer
• Raising funds to help change the future for those affected

We’re delighted to announce that Dr Priya Mehndiratta will be joining the Family First Medical Centre team on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.

🎉 Welcome Dr Alex! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Dr Alex Kubitskiy joined our team as of yesterday, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome him to Family First Medical Centre!

Dr Alex is a fully qualified, Australian-trained doctor and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM). He brings extensive international experience, having worked across Russia, Italy and Australia, including many years as a Plastic Surgery Career Medical Officer in major tertiary hospitals throughout Sydney.

His clinical background includes plastic surgery, microsurgery and hand surgery, and he offers a comprehensive range of cosmetic services, both surgical and non-surgical. Dr Alex also provides advanced care for skin cancer, including non-surgical and surgical treatments, skin flaps and grafts, and has a strong interest in general medicine, skin health and chronic wound management.
