Damians journey and fight with MND

We'd like to say a big thank you to G*i for hosting a garage sale to raise funds to support people living with MND recently.

Friends and neighbours also stepped up to help support the event, donating not only funds, but also some goods to sell, and helped at the event. There was a great variety of goods to choose from on the day, and G*i raised a fantastic $3,702 for MND NSW! What an amazing effort!

Hi guys thank u so much for all the beautiful well wishes for today
My procedure went well though they did find my hiatus hurnia is back but small hopefully I don’t need surgery again cause I’m already having to undergo a hysterectomy soon for health reasons so 2 big operations is not what I need in my life right now

When I need to be a carer for my Damian and my Charlie and it’s a good thing my Ethan and Lachy are such amazing helpers when it comes to there family I have a feeling we are gonna need it 🤦‍♀️

My last hospital visit on the 31st of July is gonna be a really scary but big one that I really need to hear some good news from so fingers crossed 🤞

As this one will really help me if it’s good news for me and our little family

Bloody hell it all seems to happening at once doesn’t it

And thank u to my beautiful man it really took it out of Damian doing all the driving when I couldn’t

And for my Ethan and Lachy who help hold down the forte at home

And we are off again for another Brisbane trip for my procedure only another 2 Brisbane trips to go before the end of the month

Being on August when we can try and settle down to normal abit

But least Damian’s smiling as he’s stoping off at 2 different motor bike shops while we are here lol 😂 🤦‍♀️

And no Damian’s not getting another bike he owns enough lol 😂

Hi guys after a very emotional week we are slowly making our way back to finding our cheerful positive selves just been A really tough few weeks

This coming week we are off to Brisbane again for me to have a procedure to see how I’m healing a year and a half after having to have a big operation fingers crossed all is well as I need to be well and fit to be there for damian and my boys

This week damian has spent some special time with his beautiful family and be there for them in there time of need

Thank u all for understanding that we needed to be away for a while but soon back on board and raising MND awareness and funds and we can’t wait to show u what we have in place to help us achieve this

Thank u everyone for your beautiful kind words and messages we have received these past 2 weeks it all of yous and this page that helps us try to make a difference in the lives of people living with MND

Well Damian’s been trying to keep busy again u just can’t stop the man
And once again he’s done a stunning job on our fire pit area still a bit to go but the lights look so beautiful

Hey guys

So today went ok he’s lungs have gone down a little bit since last time and they are giving him a new pill to try and help with access saliva to see if that gives him any more of his speech back we will have to see
But they said he’s gone down heaps with his talking but all other areas only a little bit so that’s a positive they said

He said if he looses another 10 percent of his lungs then he’s gonna start to get worried but he said he’s not concerned yet so that’s good

We spoke about other trials and there is hopefully a promising one looking good for the near future but that won’t be till mid next year as it needs funding as it’s a brand new medicine being created

This is where it’s frustrating if the government gave more funding in this area then this would help so much but we rely on peoples donations

So today we are gonna take as a positive day and that apart from his speech he’s going well thank u for all the beautiful wishes today they mean so much to us
