Damian’s journey and fight with MND is feeling pumped
I have just had a 1.5 hour meeting with the CEO of MND QLD

And well she is as excited and we are
MND QLD backs and advocates for all people with MND and there familys they fight endlessly for the care and supports that familys need to help fight this disease

And Now MND QLD is joining forces with
Damian’s journey and fight with MND we have decided to help each other on our common goals

We are teaming up to help fight for what we need for a cure and research after our lenghty meeting we found we are fighting for the same goals

And with our MND army and there knowledge we are gonna be an unstoppable team

I have been asked to join them in the brisbane Parliament House to help fight and support them in april as they continue to help raise much awareness and fight this cruel disease

Together we will make a difference

So join us and let’s fight this

So proud of our Ethan he just did his documentary on MND through his eyes and what it’s like to be a child whos life’been touched my MND

Wow he’s well beyond his years
His answers and how he sees life through his eyes
And how he puts things in place to protect hos mental heath is truly inspiring

Great news I have another meeting with our MP David Lee to discuss some important things I want to get moving for MND patients this Friday

He asked me for this follow up meeting which just shows how dedicated he is to helping people with MND

We couldn’t get things moving with out u all
Damians journey and fight with MND consists of nearly 13000 people ready to fight for MND

And BOY we are a strong 💪 team when we fight together

Update on damian

Well we are one week post peg
And we are slowly getting used to our new normal

This happens with MND u get used to something and then something else happens and u find yourself adjusting to another new normal

But he’s going well only asperated once this week which was a little one cause most of his feeds and fluids are going through the peg now

He just eats and drinks purely for taste and enjoyment

He’s been out the front tinkering with his motor bike
Of course a new exhaust had to go on the bike lol

So that’s been keeping him busy

Pain is up and down but now only needing Panadol and nurofen which is great

5 feeds a day at the moment to help him gain some much needed weight
