Supporting the Veteran community has been a big part of Body in Motion Physio since being established back in 2012.
Over the weekend, myself and Morry from volunteered our physio services to support the athletes taking part in the Veteran Games held on the Gold Coast. We were also joined in the recovery area by Jess from .by.jess and together we did our best to keep the assortment of broken and not so broken bodies in the fight.
11 teams of former and currently serving members of the defence force took part in a number of military style challenges with the winning team walking away with a very handy $10000 novelty cheque.
It was fantastic to see the massive amount of support for the Veteran owned businesses present as well as all the other small businesses that are working in the Veteran space. All of this being made possible due to the work of and his team at Veteran Games. 🛡️🪖🇦🇺
