Ren is a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where individuals feel truly heard and understood. Ren works with children, adolescents and adults, supporting concerns such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, adjustment challenges and emotional regulation.
With a background in Speech Pathology and lived experience within the LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse communities, Ren values inclusive, compassionate and person-centred care. CASUAL ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT POSITION
- HERVEY BAY LOCATION -
A casual administration assistant position is available, supporting the director. This role may suit a future or current psychology or allied health student, a junior wanting to be trained to work in an admin. role or an experienced receptionist. Work available is approximately 10 hours. Wednesdays 8:30 to 12:30pm (essential), Tuesday 8:30 till 11:30 am and Thursday 8:30 till 11:30am. These hours may increase in the future.

The role requires a person who is friendly, efficient, well organised and takes initiative. The successful candidate requires excellent telephone and interpersonal skills and will be able to multitask, due to the fast pace of the job. The applicant must be available to engage in an interview in the near future and training in April. The applicant will be trained in the systems in place; however, a high level of rapid and accurate typing skills and knowledge of computers is required.

* Worry that won’t ease — Persistent anxiety about school, friendships, or everyday situations

* Difficulty with big emotions — Frequent meltdowns or trouble calming down after becoming upset
