💜Many women escape violent relationships with nothing but the clothes they are wearing and little to no access to money. In those first hours, their immediate needs are not only physical, but deeply psychological. Fear, shock, shame, and uncertainty are overwhelming.
💜DV Angel Bags were created to meet both needs at once. These bags are more than care packages. They are a mental health intervention at the point of crisis. They restore a sense of dignity, safety, and humanity to women who have just experienced trauma.

Louder Than Before is seeking expression of interest for an event later this year in Hervey Bay, QLD:

💜Bubbles, Bites and Big Hearts 💜
in support of DV Angel Bags. Bring some items to donate, enjoy some nibbles and bubbles, and hear from a special guest speaker.

DV Angel Bags are care packages for women experiencing domestic and family violence. They’re filled with essential personal items like toiletries, period products, and safety alarms, as well as items like bikkies, tea and scrunchies for comfort during a time where self love can often be forgotten. They are given through frontline services to women who often leave with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing.
