πŸ†πŸ† Your 2025 International WASZP Games Champions have been crowned.

The week threw everything at the 248 strong fleet, breeze, light conditions, rain and even some sunshine. But in the end, Federico Bergamasco was just too consistent and too fast, taking the overall championship. Pearl Lattanzi, who has battled since 2019 for the Women's title, showed absolute class in all conditions to finally make it hers. Andrew Chisholm took out the Junior Championship and Enzio Savoini finally won the Masters title. The Super Masters Champion was none other than Sweden's Stefan Eriksson.

It's the final day of the 2025 WASZP Games here in Weymouth!

We are under AP this morning waiting for the breeze to fill in before we hit the water for the final races of the regatta.

Silver and Bronze fleets will be doing slalom and sprint racing today while Gold fleet will do their final three fleet races.

The penultimate day of the 2025 WASZP Games is complete. There is going to be plenty to play for on the finals day of racing!

The Weymouth weather continued to keep the fleet guessing, with the northerly breeze hanging in the early forecast before giving way to a westerly build. By 13:00, the fleets were off the slipβ€”Gold heading into the bay while the rest remained tucked inside the harbour.Β  Keen to get racing, the Go...

Another terribly shifty and light day out in the bay left the Gold Fleet with only one race to add to their tally. After a shift into the harbour, it was eventually decided to abandon racing for the day entirely, as the AP over A was flown from the committee boat. But that didn't stop Bronze and Silver fleets getting a few races in each in decent breeze before also being sent ashore.

But it was the Green Fleet who probably had the best time. 12 year old Alexander Hepplewhite is a great example of someone who wasn't foiling before this event, but is now consistently up and flying. Green Fleet is such a unique category to have at international regattas, and as such, is a very important part of the overall culture of the class, fostering the next crop and keeping them in touch with their heroes.

It was a long and light penultimate day for the 2025 WASZP Games here in Weymouth.

Sailors hit the water this afternoon with a light sea breeze giving us an opportunity to get a few more races on the scorecard but ultimately the day ended early when the rain killed the breeze.

We look to tomorrow, the final day of racing, where we will crown our 2025 champions!

Day three is in the books. The breeze finally kicked in after a long day of waiting!

By Nicola Hoyle Day 3 of the WASZP Games dawned with cautious optimism as the early risers in the boat park were greeted by a light but promising northerly breeze. However, an approaching front caused the race committee to call a three-hour postponement. The wind clocked round to the west by lunchti...

Shifty and light conditions presented a new challenge to the sailors for Day 3 of racing at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.

The first light day of the regatta meant a shake up in results with the light air sailors shining in the favourable conditions.
