Registrations are now open for our term 4 online parent program, "Building a Positive Neurodivergent Identity," starting Monday 13th October.

This 6-week program, running from 1-2:30pm, is designed to empower you with the tools and insights to help your child thrive.

We are also taking expressions of interest for an online adolescent program in term 4 that will provide a safe and supportive place for teens to connect and learn about
- what makes their brain awesome and unique
- tools for managing emotions and dealing with things like burnout
- communicating and building positive relationships with others

Did you know that autism and ADHD often co-occur? This dual experience is sometimes referred to as AuDHD and today Sept 9th is AuDHD Day! 😃🌼✨

AuDHD is a term used by the neurodivergent community to describe the unique blend of traits from both conditions, which can sometimes feel like being pulled in two directions at once.

While ADHD and autism are distinct conditions, they commonly co-occur with it believed that 50-70% of autistic people also have ADHD.

AuDHD Day is about creating space, language, and visibility for something that often gets overlooked or misunderstood.

Meet Our Team: Dr. Laura Hopkinson

We're so thrilled to have the wonderful Laura Hopkinson as part of the Raise the Bar team!

Laura is an experienced early years psychologist who has dedicated her career to helping young children and their families thrive. She works with children in their Prep year of school or younger, providing assessment and support for a wide range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral differences.

Laura's passion lies in supporting families of young children to understand their child's unique needs, offering practical strategies to strengthen family bonds and promote healthy development.

Laura holds a PhD/Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology and has extensive experience in early intervention, developmental differeneces and family support.

We had a fantastic time Friday night at our staff social! We traded our keyboards for dartboards and had a great time playing a few rounds. It was a perfect way to unwind, have some laughs, and connect outside of the office. We're already looking forward to the next one!
