🧠 “They have great ideas—but they fall apart on paper.”
If this sounds familiar, it might not be laziness. It could be dysgraphia.

Dysgraphia affects a child’s ability to write clearly and consistently—often leading to frustration, low confidence, or school anxiety.

✏️ Early signs include:
• Unusual pencil grip
• Spelling that doesn’t match spoken ability
• Run-on or disorganised sentences
• Reluctance to do written tasks

In fact, studies show a strong overlap between the two.

We offer assessments that carefully consider both. Because every brain is unique — and so is every care plan.

ADHD vs Autism – What’s the Difference?

ADHD and Autism are often spoken about together — but they’re not the same.
🔹 ADHD affects attention, focus and impulse control.
🔹 Autism impacts communication, social understanding, and routine-based behaviours.

They can look similar, but need different kinds of support. That’s why getting the right assessment matters.

💬 Ever felt unsure about the difference? You’re not alone.
Book an assessment at Raise The Bar Clinic and get guidance that helps you understand exactly what your child needs.

🖊️ Messy handwriting might be common—but persistent difficulty with writing could be a sign of dysgraphia.

Dysgraphia is more than sloppy penmanship. It’s a learning difference that affects how kids physically write and express their thoughts on paper.

👀 Key signs to look for:
• Cramped grip or hand fatigue
• Inconsistent spacing and letter sizing
• Strong verbal ideas, but weak written output
• Avoidance of writing altogether

The earlier we understand what’s behind the struggle, the sooner we can support children to write with confidence.
