**COVID-19 Update**
Dear valued members of The Mindful Clinic community,
We acknowledge that the current Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is an unnerving and unsettling time with many unknowns at present. The physical and mental wellbeing of our clients, clinicians and family members is our highest priority.
We continue to take proactive and preventative measures to ensure we protect and avoid any exposure to COVID-19 where possible. Our clinic is following protocol by using hospital-grade cleaning agents and sanitisers in our therapeutic space.
If you are experiencing ANY cold or flu symptoms, however mild, we ask that you please cancel or reschedule your appointment with The Mindful Clinic and speak with your GP. Previously our cancellation policy has been at least ONE business day notice. However, given the potential rapid onset of viral symptoms we understand that this is unreasonable at present. Therefore we will be waiving all cancellation fees until further notice.
As we are fully booked with a waiting list of clients, we request that you cancel/reschedule your session with as much notice as you can provide in order that another client may benefit.
If you have recently returned from overseas travel, please comply with mandatory requirements from the Australian Government and Department of Health and stay in self-quarantine for 14 days.
We are currently offering Telehealth video-conferencing sessions (Skype/Zoom) to all clients, so please let us know if you’d like to participate in an online session. Whilst Medicare has released Telehealth bulk-bill item numbers, the eligibility criteria are rather restrictive at this stage. Online sessions will therefore be charged at our usual fee (although private health rebates, WorkSafe, TAC rebates will still apply). This situation is changing regularly and we will keep you updated if Medicare rebate options become more widely accessible.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Remember that social distancing doesn’t equate to disconnection. Let’s get creative in maintaining our connections with others; check in with neighbours, vulnerable friends, and the elderly – offer support if you can. Stay active, hydrated and take extra precautions with hygiene.
Let’s support one another and work toward flattening the Corona curve
