Sorry, not sorry.
We've been a little quiet on here.

I've been having a break :)
Been to WA (alone!) to see 'meine kleine western schwester', been sick, been to Mungindi to see friends, had a weekend at the Gold Coast just now, did Paladin Fitness Race (totally unlike me), spent some quality time with good quality people.

My 'little one' turned 4- no babies here any more.
My big guy got a special award.
Hubby just had a MONTH off work (totally unlike him).

So much life.

This week we're back in the work & Playful groove and well enough to run sessions!

Gosh what a wonderful morning.
Holiday Sessions are the best fun, and today involved whole families outdoors. We had 5 dads and a granddad, plus a whole host of brilliant mums mumming their way.

My phone is not taking/ saving photos, but if you have any to share from today, we'd love you to pm us.

Children are natural explorers, testing boundaries and discovering their capabilities every day. As parents, sometimes this can be tricky and exhausting!

At Playful by Nature we delight in providing a safe environment for risky play allowing your little people to push their limits, build resilience, problem-solve, and build their confidence.

What are your thoughts on risky play? Can you guess the types of Risky Play?

Over the coming days, we’ll share some information on each of the types of risky play, why they’re important, how you can explore these at home and how we incorporate them into our sessions.

After dreaming with some of our regular Nature Playgroup families, we've decided to make next term even more about community, bringing in expert adults to learn about, well, nearly anything. If you have a skill in some area relevant to kids and nature (and a blue card), pm us or comment below to get involved 🙂
