So what are friendships like for children? 💙

31/03/2026

There’s something powerful about kids being guided by young adult mentors - they’re close enough in age to be relatable, but experienced enough to lead with purpose. They become role models who inspire, encourage, and remind kids that growth, confidence, and resilience are all within reach.

Group games aren’t just fun for kids — they’re powerful for development. 🎈

When children play together, they learn how to communicate, cooperate, solve problems, and navigate emotions like winning, losing, and taking turns. These moments help build confidence, empathy, and resilience.

Happy World Happiness Day from our team! Happiness isn’t something we “find”—it’s something we build. It grows through small daily habits: meaningful connections, self-compassion, gratitude, and living in alignment with what truly matters to us. Happiness is not the absence of struggle, but the ability to experience life fully and still find moments of meaning and joy along the way. 🌼

Brave Heart Wellbeing - Supporting young people by building strength and resilience for coping with life’s tough times.

Brave Heart Wellbeing is all about helping young people (5-25) and their support networks - including parents - to assist in learning, understanding and supporting others with mental health challenges.

The focus of Brave Heart Wellbeing is on building strength and resilience and early intervention strategies for coping with life stressors and symptoms associated with anxiety and depression. It includes workshops, group programs, one on one psychological services and counselling. Group programs incorporate fitness classes, as well as talk therapy in a supportive and non-judgemental space.

Brave Heart Wellbeing proudly presents the ‘Standing Strong’ Program with a range of classes and workshops available from Term 4 2019.
