I have been a massage therapist for over 25 years. I then went through to do my sports Massage and injury management certificate in 1995.
It all started in 1994 when i left school and i studied a certificate in Therapeutic Massage, the course only went for 16 weeks. After i finished my study i found work in a Massage Clinic in the City, this was a huge eye opener for me, as i had never worked with such different personalities. It was great though as i gained so much valuable experience. i worked at Brisbane Massage Therapy Center for 5 years. When i left in 2001, i decided to give myself a break from the Massage industry and worked in various differing occupations. However massage was always my passion. i decided to go back and in 2010 and complete my Diploma in Remedial Massage through the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences. I started a Mobile Massage Business, so i could work around my children. in that time i worked in different locations and Clinical settings, I've worked with Acupuncturist, Chiropractors and Physio's. With all the experience i have gained over the years, i have now decided to open my own little clinic. i am very excited to be working in my chosen career, and have the opportunity to share my knowledge with everyone.

I have been a Remedial Massage Therapist for over 24 years. It all started in 1994 when I left school and I studied a certificate in Therapeutic Massage. I then studied a certificate in sports Massage and injury management, in 1995. After completing my studies, I found work in a Massage Clinic in the City, I worked at Brisbane Massage Therapy Center for 5 years.
When I left in 2001, I decided to give myself a break from the massage industry and worked in hospitality, market research and sales.
However massage therapy still remained my passion, and in 2010 I decided to start again in the natural therapies industry, and renewed my Diploma in Remedial Massage through the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences.
I then started a mobile massage business, this enabled me to work my business around my three children.
As well as my mobile business, I worked in different Clinical settings, with Acupuncturist, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists.
With all the experience I have gained over the years, In May 2014, I decided to open my own clinic, and Time to Unwind on Anzac Avenue in Hillcrest, was born.
It has been a wonderful journey so far, I love having the flexibility to work my business around my three children. I am proud to be in my chosen industry, helping my clients everyday with my years of knowledge in so many different modalities such as:
Remedial massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, muscle cupping for myofascial release and tradition glass flame cupping, dry needling, pregnancy massage, Lymphatic massage, Pilates and Reiki.
