Supersaurus is a multidisciplinary allied health centre catering for all ages. Offering individual and group therapy.

We are a multidisciplinary allied health centre catering for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Currently offering individual and group therapy conducted by Psychologists, Exercise Physiologist, Dietitian and Early Childhood Educators. Group therapy is conducted utilising play and a sensory diet, combined with emotion regulation training to assist our children to manage their anger and anxiety more effectively.

To engage in a group, the child will participate in a brief intake interview to assess their level of function and to establish appropriate goals that are relevant to the child and their family. We offer a place to feel safe, learn, be stimulated, feel relaxed and make friends for children who find these things a challenge. Treating children with:
Autism Spectrum Condition
Attention Deficit Disorder/Hyperactivity Disorder
Sensory Processing Disorder
Anger
Anxiety
Depression
Speech
or other social deficiencies, as well as their families.

Children who have been flagged by school, medical practitioners or families for cognitive, social, communication or developmental needs are also welcomed. Adolescents, adults, couples and families are also welcome at at our practice. We are NDIS Registered so we can work with Agency, Plan and Self Managed NDIS clients. Our therapists are registered with Medicare and with an eligible referral, you may be able to receive a Medicare rebate.

Offered for 50 minutes, weekly for 8 weeks - suitable for any child eligible for Kindergarten in 2026. They do not have to be attending Kindy in 2026.

There are many children living in NSW or ACT who require therapy for physical or behavioural disability, but cannot access clinicians due to financial hardship or ineligibility for NDIS support. That’s why Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT has created the We Care Therapy grant, providing financial assistance towards therapy costs to assist children who need it most.

Grants of up to $2000 are available over a twelve-month period and applications are open all year round.

Bec will also be working on Reception to learn all facets of Supersaurus. Make sure you say hello when you meet her!

Bec holds Special Education/Teaching degrees and Psychology/Counselling degrees. Bec has worked with students from the Preschool/Early Intervention years, right through to adults.

Bec is thrilled to be joining Supersaurus as she has a real passion for working with, and advocating for, people with additional needs and their families. Bec has worked in the education system (both Department of Education and Armidale Catholic Schools Diocese) over the last 27 years as a Support and Inclusion teacher, School Counsellor and Classroom Teacher. Her most recent position was as an Inclusion Support Teacher, where her role involved: supporting students with special needs to help them access the curriculum, helping students to develop social skills through small-group instruction, writing Individual Education and Behaviour Support Plans, and performing diagnostic assessments and screeners.

Bec will be available part time as Key Worker/Educator - her hours will grow as demand increases. The balance of her time will start in Administration. 🦕💚
