No matter how positive you are, there will always be moments when you’re pulled into negativity whether through conversations, self-talk or focusing on what’s going wrong.

Over time, this drains your energy and disconnects you from your authentic self.

You can protect your vibe by:

Are you ready for change … or just thinking about it? 🤔

No matter how much guidance or support you have, true transformation only happens when you’re genuinely ready, open and willing to create change.

Instead of feeling frustrated with your progress, it can help to recognise what stage of change you’re in right now:

👉 Pre-contemplation: You’re not ready to consider change yet (and may not even see an issue).
👉 Contemplation: You’re starting to notice something needs to shift, but still hesitant about taking action.
👉 Preparation: You’re feeling ready and starting to plan - this is the perfect time to seek support (hint, hint 😉)
👉 Action: You’re taking real steps and noticing positive shifts.
👉 Maintenance: You’ve built healthy habits and are now focused on sustaining them long-term.

Trying to force change before you’re truly ready often leads to resistance or failure. But when the timing feels right, I’d love to support you in moving from awareness into action through Kinesiology.

At the start of every Kinesiology session, we create a focus together which becomes our guide for the balance. This might be easing a physical issue you’re experiencing or setting a goal that reflects how you’d like to feel.

When it comes to setting goals, rather than using broad statements like “I am pain free” or “I have more energy,” we go a little deeper. Whilst these intentions are valuable, they don’t always uncover the “why” or what might be standing in the way.

Instead, we explore solution-focused goals that connect to how you feel about yourself, and what’s motivating your actions. Unlike outcome goals, these are within your power to shift, because they’re about the relationship you have with yourself.

These might sound like:

💙 “I accept myself regardless of what I do.”
💙 “I value my innate self.”
💙 “I nourish and care for me.”
💙 “I love all aspects of myself”

When you shift the relationship with yourself, everything else follows. These kinds of intentions open the door for deeper healing, creating lasting changes in how you feel and live each day.

We all encounter challenges in life, some that affect us more deeply than others.

Often our instinct is to protect ourselves and those we love by pushing emotions down or avoiding them, rather than processing them in the moment. Over time, this can lead us to coping mechanisms like food, alcohol or distractions that only mask the pain.

But when emotions stay trapped in the body, they hold us back and limit our potential. Instead of fading, they intensify, raising stress levels and draining resilience until the body begins to speak through symptoms like tension, pain or disease.

Kinesiology helps by gently accessing the subconscious to bring these emotions to the surface so they can finally be acknowledged, released and resolved. This process restores balance, eases stress and opens the way for healing, recovery and growth.

As we move through mid-life, shifting hormones can stir up all kinds of physical and emotional changes. At the same time, our identity and other parts of life are evolving - children grow up and become more independent, friendships drift and things that once felt easy can suddenly feel more challenging.

After years of building a career and pouring your energy into raising a family, the roles that once gave you inspiration and purpose look very different now.

It’s no wonder you may feel lonely, lost or like you no longer belong. You might find yourself saying ‘yes’ out of obligation or just to feel needed, rather than because it truly lights you up.

Hands up if you’re an overthinker … it’s exhausting, right??!! 🙋‍♀️🥴

Even the simplest decision or situation can turn into a full-blown mental marathon. Suddenly, you’ve got a list of pros, cons, what-ifs and worst-case scenarios running erratically through your head. No wonder it leaves you feeling anxious, drained and ready to give up.

Here are a few simple strategies that can help settle the overthinking spiral:

👉 Ask yourself: Will this still matter next week, next month or next year?
👉 Let go of the need for the ‘perfect’ answer.
👉 Talk it over with someone (but maybe not with another overthinker 😬).
👉 Get your thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
👉 Shift your focus to what could go right, instead of what might go wrong.

All that overthinking and worry steals the joy out of the present moment. Imagine if you used that same energy to actually do the thing you’re worrying about!

We’re starting to see the first hints of spring in the air! ☀️🌳🌸

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring aligns with the wood element, which invites growth, expansion and new beginnings. Governed by the liver and gall bladder meridians, the wood element encourages the free flow of qi (our vital energy) and supports the natural rhythms of life.

When this element is out of balance, you may feel indecisive, stuck or caught up in striving for perfection. This often shows up as tension in the body, with feelings of frustration, irritability or anger that block the natural flow of qi.

One healthy action is always better than none. The first step is often the hardest, but even a one-degree shift can completely change the direction of your life.

When I conduct Kinesiology sessions, I weave in the principles of Mind Body Medicine. But what does that mean and how can it support you?

Mind Body Medicine explores the connection between your thoughts, behaviours, patterns and beliefs, and how these can influence what shows up physically in your body.

When I take your case history, I’m not just noting a symptom, I’m gathering details that help decode the body’s messages. For example, if you’re experiencing pain, I’ll explore questions like:

🤔 Where is the pain located?
🤔 How intense is it?
🤔 Does it feel sharp or dull?
🤔 Is it in a fixed location or does it move around?
🤔 Does it ease with movement or with rest?
🤔 And importantly, what was happening in your life around the time the pain began?

Each answer helps reveal patterns and themes, shining a light on the deeper emotional or psychological drivers behind your behaviours.

This process empowers you to increase self-awareness, understand your behaviours and take an active role in your healing. By addressing the root cause, you can unlock the key to real, lasting change. 🥰

We all know the obvious stress triggers — a demanding job, a busy home life, financial pressure, the constant pull on your time and energy.

But there are also quieter factors that can slowly wear you down:

🤒 Missing or dismissing the early signs your body and mind are giving you.
