📚✨ Professional Development Day!
Spent the day diving deep into MAT (Mobility & Assistive Technology) assessments with the brilliant team at
Always learning. Always evolving.
Today was all about understanding the latest assistive tech options on the market — because many of my amazing kiddos require more than just therapy; they need the right equipment to move, play, learn, and thrive 💪🏽💛
Empowering families means staying up to date with what’s out there — and how best to match the right support to each child’s unique goals and needs. So grateful for opportunities like this!

🧠✨ It’s World Brain Day – and we’re celebrating the amazing, wobbly, giggly, genius organ inside your child’s (…and our!!!) head!

✨ That’s a Wrap – Winter Intensives 2025! ❄️👣

Two incredible weeks.
11-hour days.
Even added a Saturday.
And every single second? 100% worth it. 💪🏽

Over the Winter School Holidays, I ran back-to-back intensives at Happy Walkers Kids Physio — and what a whirlwind of growth, giggles, determination, and heartwarming progress it’s been!

From faster steps and standing tall to building strength and confidence and even training for the city to bay marathon in September 😱, each child came in with a goal — and left having made meaningful progress toward it. I pushed myself too, making time for those who needed a little extra, because I know what these sessions can unlock.

Once every 10–11 weeks, I pour everything into these intensives. It’s full-on, but when this work is your passion, you don’t count the hours — you count the wins. ✨

Now it’s back to regular sessions from Monday this week, and it’s also back to school for many of my little clients! Some are even starting kindy and school for the first time with the mid-year intake — wide-eyed, eager, and ready for new adventures. 🎒📚

To every family that joined in this round: thank you for trusting me with your little one’s journey. Watching their joy — and yours — as goals were reached made every long day more than worthwhile. 💕

Here’s to continuing the work, one happy strong step at a time. 👣💫

🎮 When therapy feels like play… magic happens!
At Happy Walkers Kids Physio, I love using movement-based video games to support balance, coordination, and midline crossing — all while keeping kids smiling and engaged.

This approach helps children stay motivated, try new things, and practise important motor skills without the pressure of “doing exercises.” It’s amazing how much therapeutic value can be packed into a fun game!

Whether it’s reaching, jumping, or reacting fast — every move is helping their little bodies learn and grow in a joyful way.

✨ Movement with meaning, guided by goals, and always with a smile.

📍 Curious about how this could support your child’s therapy journey? Send me a message or book a free 30 minute consult on the website to learn more.

🔎 Disclaimer: Activities are always used under the guidance of a trained physiotherapist and matched to each child’s needs. I do not promote or endorse any specific video game brand or device.

The sky has that burnished blue glow today — the kind that hums with quiet promise. The green leaves shimmer in the stillness, catching bits of sun like tiny mirrors. And the lemons on the tree are blindingly yellow, as if the sun decided to settle into their skin for a while. 🍋

It’s the perfect kind of winter day for a deep breath — the calm before our school holiday intensive blitz kicks off tomorrow.

I’m ready. I’m rested. And I can’t wait to welcome our brave movers and their families for two weeks of grit, giggles, and glorious growth. Let’s make magic. 💛👣

Let’s do this.

Tomorrow, the new NDIS therapy pricing comes into effect.

It’s hard to put into words how disheartening this moment feels. Over the past few weeks, so many of us across allied health — physios, OTs, speechies, and more — have tried to reach out. We’ve sent letters, shared data, spoken from lived experience, and begged for open conversations. All we wanted was to be heard.

But those in charge? The politicians who hold the power to make or change these decisions?
They chose silence.

Not once did they meaningfully engage. Not once did they come to the table and say, “Let’s talk. Let’s understand.”
Instead, they stood behind flawed reports and inaccurate assumptions, refusing to back down — even when we showed them just how wrong and harmful these changes are.

It feels like dealing with bullies. The kind who make a move, push you down and then dig their heels in, pretending what they did was right — even when the evidence, the impact, and the people say otherwise.

This silence hasn’t spoken more — it’s just confirmed how far removed they are from the realities on the ground. From the needs of families. From the costs of ethical, high-quality, child-centred care.

To every family we support, please know:
We are still here. We are still fighting.
And we will always keep showing up — even when those with the most power choose not to.

📸 Out of Office – Family Time 💛
This long weekend, I’m hitting pause to soak up some quality moments with my little crew. As much as I love the tiny feet and big milestones at the clinic, this time is just for us — to rest, laugh, and make some memories.
I will be back Tuesday, ready to walk, roll, jump and crawl into a brand new week with all our Happy Walkers!
Wishing you a beautiful weekend – however you’re spending it. 🌿Stay warm and dry.
