Over thirty years ago, a group of people living with disability realised that no one was better equipped to choose the kind of support they needed than themselves. Honing their knowledge and skills, together they became architects and builders of their own individualised disability services. Today, Enhanced Lifestyles remains a member-governed not-for-profit, our Board is comprised of people who use our services. By designing support services based on lived experience, we deliver the services people want to live life the way they choose.

2 new build Specialist Disability Accommodation New Dawn (SDA) houses meeting High Physical Support with On-site Overnight Assistance (OOA) located in the desirable North Western suburb of Largs North. It was fantastic to attend the City of Onkaparinga's Regional Disability Network today!

The event was informative and sparked so many valuable conversations around inclusion and accessibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading all clinical services at Enhanced Lifestyles, including assessing, managing and providing oversight to new and existing customer care plans, developing and delivering training programs for our dedicated support staff and ensuring that our care meets the highest clinical standards.

"My job is always changing - I like that every day is different. I was a registered nurse and I have found that being a Lifestyle Attendant allows me to have a great work life balance. I enjoy the continuity of working with customers for many years and it is such a privilege to see all the changes in a customer's life when you work with them for so long. I was able to assist a customer in learning to use an electric wheelchair, and watching them become independent in using it has been a lovely progression to witness. I used to walk their dog, but now, using their electric wheelchair, they are able to do that on their own which is amazing!" - Sylvie, Lifestyle Attendant of 18 years.

Our FY2024-25 Highlights
We're proud to share the numbers that reflect our growth and impact:

🔸 125,552 hours of in-home support delivered.
🔸 4,151 days of support delivered to Supported Independent Living customers.
🔸 Responded to 46,164 customer, family and staff enquiries.
🔸 Hosted 21 customer events.
🔸 Provided support to nearly 230 in-home and SIL customers.
🔸 Welcomed 1 new Member Advisory Group (MAG) member.
🔸 326 staff completed 54 training courses.
🔸 7,891 hours delivered to our Support Coordination, DSOA, and Psychosocial Recovery Coach customers to achieve their goals.
🔸 Provided support to over 288 Support Coordination, DSOA and Psychosocial Recovery Coach customers.
🔸 721 in-home visits were conducted by our Customer Relations team.
🔸 We welcomed 46 new lifestyle Attendants and 10 new office staff.
