Want that old-school arcade fix? Our very own Mad Dash: Canyon Run arcade machine has it covered! Complete with joysticks, mashable buttons, and fully legit T molding. Just a heads up, you’ll need to figure out a way to secure an official custom coin, or this bad boy is gonna cost you $2 a throw. Head to Level Up 2026 to see it in action.

Meet our clever coder, Lucas.

Joining the team fresh out of college, Lucas first dipped his toes into SFX animation before discovering his true natural habitat: deep in the trenches of code, wrangling strings and expressions with the calm precision of someone born to do it.

Unofficially, Lucas is AWF’s resident culinary sage. With an unwavering love for food, especially from the islands ofJapan, he’s known to recount his weekend eats with the enthusiasm of a seasoned food critic. If you know what Lucas had for dinner on Saturday, congratulations: you’re officially part of the AWF family. His encyclopedic knowledge of Japan means there's always a new tip, fact, or must-visit spot ready to spill out at a moment’s notice. Outside the code cave, Lucas is a genuinely good lad who enjoys gaming, hunting down new restaurants, and stepping beyond his comfort zone one small adventure at a time.

Last year, we had the chance to showcase our new VR version of Sky Rush at Level Up Tasmania. Fortunately for us, it was a huge hit, drawing the longest line at the expo. The game takes players into the sky to blast through waves of flying enemies using guns and giant slingshots. The twist? No controllers, just your hands, pointed like blasters, to fire.
In each 3-minute session, players can collect power-ups, level up, encounter new enemies, and unlock weapons, all packed into a fast, immersive experience. Safe to say, it made an impression with many coming back for seconds, or more.
