Monday reminder to carry that relaxed weekend nervous system with you into the week ahead.
Best way to do that? Mindfulness.
3 tips to get mindful before your work day:
1. Close your eyes for a moment. Sense how you’re breathing. Watch belly rise & fall.
2. Do a body scan - are you clenching, holding tension in jaw, fists, shoulders neck. Invite it to relax.
3. Become sensory - what can you see? What can you smell? What can you feel? (Heat, breeze). Bonus tip- do all 3 as you take a sip of morning coffee. Close eyes, inhale the beans, enjoy that first sip, relax. You’re good to go👊🏽
