About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct support to people with disability in various settings including in-home care, community participation, daily living assistance, and personal care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide respectful, person-centred care and support
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support clients in achieving their NDIS goals
• Facilitate social and community participation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date support documentation
• Collaborate with families, advocates, and health professionals
What We’re Looking For
We value team members who are empathetic, professional, and committed to quality care.
Essential Criteria
• Experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred but not essential)
• Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability or related field (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check - NDIS endorsed
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
