Wow it’s been a big couple of days!

Yesterday was an epic birth of a gorgeous little pip of a boy, born to a powerhouse mama at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Today an equally epic homebirth after a previous cesarean for another birthing goddess, to a beautiful big boy, who it is fair to say, was at the OTHER end of the baby size bell-curve!!!

Healthy babies come in all sizes!
And so do birthing goddesses.

Remember:
We conceive our babies.
We grow our babies.
We birth our babies.
This is what our bodies do.
(But sometimes our babies don’t get the ‘birthing’ memo, and they have different plans ❤️ and that’s a glorious birth too ❤️)

Also today I got to work with two of my favourite humans in the whole wide world 😍 the brilliant midwives Annie Popellier and Rashelle Szoke. 🥰

Hello Community, as mentioned in my ABC radio interview last week, there’s opportunity for consumers to have their say on what we’d like to see offered at the Royal Hobart Hospital. We need consumer driven change to happen. If you’d like to see the option of having a private midwife providing women and birthing people with gold standard care that can continue if you need to birth in the hospital, please make contact via the email or phone number highlighted 💚
