🌟 Meet Jess – Physio at Leap Health Huonville! 🌟

Whilst not a new physio, Jess has been a part of the Leap Health family for many years- we’re excited to reintroduce Jess, one of our talented physiotherapists at our Huonville clinic!

Jess began her physio career in mining and private practice in the Pilbara, WA, before spending the last decade in corporate health and occupational medicine. Her expertise includes injury management, workers compensation, and return-to-work programs, and in 2015 she completed her Graduate Certificate in Health Administration.

In 2022, Jess made the move from WA to the beautiful Huon Valley with her family. She now brings her wealth of experience, warm personality, and passion for helping people back to our Leap Health team.

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest physiotherapist, Marcel, to the Leap Health family! 🙌

With over 25 years of experience across Australia and internationally, Marcel brings a wealth of knowledge and a calm, confident approach to helping clients manage a wide range of clinical and chronic conditions.

Originally from the Netherlands, Marcel has worked in countries including Germany, Scotland, England, and Northern Ireland, with a strong background in orthopaedic, neurological, and systemic conditions across both adults and children. His time in academic teaching hospitals has sharpened his skills in complex care — and we’re lucky to now have him bringing that expertise back to Tasmania!

Please note that all of our Southern clinics will be closing early tomorrow (from 3pm) so our amazing admin and clinical teams can attend integral professional development.

We’re committed to continually improving our service and care — and this training ensures we’re delivering the very best for our clients.

Matt's now halfway through his Marathon Mission!
