Auf Wiedersehen, Janneke!!!

We bid farewell this week to our wonderful receptionist, Janneke, who is heading back to her homeland in Germany 🛫🇩🇪

Janneke'a background in biology saw her move to Tassie initially to study endangered parrots. So we were lucky to have had Janneke join our team at Allcare and will miss her sense of humour.

Best wishes from everyone here at Allcare, Janneke. We looking forward to seeing all about your life back in Germany 👋❤️

🏐 Volleyball extraordinaire, and our physio Ross (number 24), made it over to Victoria recently to compete with his team, Boss Volleyball, in the Warrnambool Seaside Volleyball Tournament.

The competitive event showed this Tassie team making it to the quarter finals. And although that's where the results ended for them, it was a great competition with high quality teams and, of course, lots of fun!

Nice work Ross and team Boss Volleyball! 🎉

Every 2 years, Australia hosts the Women in Sport Congress. And every 2 years, our physio, Chrissy, attends the event with excitement!!

A phenomenal conference with the best speakers in the country and even internationally coming together with a shared passion. An event that allows connection with a community of people working within women's health and performance.

Day 2 kicks off tomorrow and we can't wait to hear about it on Chrissy's return. Congratulations to the event organisers and presenters for their efforts and contribution!

This weekend marked the return of the World Athletics Continental Tour to Tasmania for the first time in 10 years, with the Hobart Track Classic showcasing some of Australia’s top athletes competing for gold on home soil.

Supporting the athletes as part of the Australian Athletics physiotherapy network was Allcare Physio’s Brice Pennicott. He was joined by physiotherapist Noah Donnelly, who provided soft tissue support throughout the meet.

Congratulations to all the athletes who left it all out on the track!

Look at her go 😍👏

Congratulations to our Exercise Physiologist, Emma, for breaking her own PB to throw 58.33m!!!

Emma will be competing tonight in the Hobart Track Classic at the Domain, alongside other track and field athletes including those who have competed in the Olympics.

It is a huge event showcasing the best of the best. The women's hammer on at 8pm and we wish Emma all the best for her event! 🌟

💚 FAREWELL MARIA!! 💚

Maria's last official day at Allcare was today 🥹. Words cannot describe how much we will miss her expertise (maria's knowledge on shoulders is extensive!), her caring self (to staff AND patients) and her fun nature.

Maria set up Allcare Physio alongside Jason Rogers and Phil Ladlow- all super star names in the physio world. She has been everyone's mentor and everyone's supporter- an always encouraging force.

We asked Maria to tell us her most favourite memories over the years at Allcare. Although she mentioned a few, her most memorable was during COVID when we set up a dance party via zoom. The whole Allcare crew put a play list together, dressed up, then absolutely rocked it in front of their screens at home. Truly was the best!! 🕺💃🤭

Maria, we will miss you so dearly!! Thank you for everything you have done for every person that has crossed your path and has been lucky to work with you. Best wishes from the whole Allcare community 🌟

Last night, the Allcare team got together to bid their farewells to two of our fabulous staff members.

Maria. MK. The O.G. The founder of Allcare! We are incredible sad to see her go. But we know change is always a good thing and we cannot wait to hear how her next chapter goes.

And Janneke. Our wonderful receptionist who will be flying back to live in Germany with "2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats!!!". That's a feat in itself! We know you will enjoy being back in your home country.

Here is our Onero class, a class to help build density 🦴🏋‍♀️

This has been based on the LIFTMOR (Lifting Intervention for Training Muscle and Osteoporosis Rehabilitation) trail - a research paper finding better bone density when lifting heavy weights and including some impact training tailored to the individual.

Our Onero program was created by a researcher, Belinda Beck, in Queensland who has interest in bone density. We are proud to offer it to our Allcare community with 30 classes a week at the clinic!!!
