✨Chrissy Tadros✨
Chrissy is a Sports Physiotherapist when over 15 years experience working in a variety of sports. These have included Australian water polo, North Melbourne/Tas AFLW, Tassie Devils, and now, currently working within soccer both with the National Premier League and with the ParaMatildas.
Chrissy's passion lies in working with women across the lifespan to enhance their health and wellbeing. She has a special interest in adolescent girls and their social barriers for both physical activity and retention in sport. Chrissy educates sporting clubs with her workshop, Game Bloom: teaching adolescent girls about sporting performance in puberty.
She sits on the Womensport and Recreation Tasmania board and volunteers for the Women's Health Education Network within the adolescent space. Chrissy is a mum of two and spends any free time playing whatever sport she can!
Chrissy will be talking about how we can improve female participation and rentention particularly across two complex age brackets - adolesnce and peri/menopausal ages. Chrissy will speaking about looking beyond the individual at the social and environmental barriers to health and wellbeing that girls and women may face. Chrissy will also talk about her program that educates youth sporting clubs with her workshop, Game Bloom: teaching girls about performance in puberty.
