With Cricket pre-season approaching, now is the time to book an Initial Assessment with Exercise Physiologist Darren McNees ๐Ÿ‘‡

What is a Pace Bowler Specific Screen ?
- An Initial 1 hour Exercise Physiology assessment and report
- Range of pace bowling specific tests to expose potential injury risks and identify areas of improvement to optimise performance
- Completed by an Exercise Physiologist with bowling specific knowledge and experience
- Private Health Insurance rebates may apply

Why would I benefit from a screen?
- Bone stress injuries are common in pace bowlers, especially in the lumbar spine
- Pace bowlers require correct form and technique as well as strength and flexibility to reduce injury risk and optimise performance
- Having a pace bowler specific cricket screen may help identify and prevent injury risk
- Follow up appointment may be required to design an individualised exercise program to address any areas of concern

๐Ÿ‘‰ BODYSYSTEM Exercise Physiologist Darren McNees
has specific cricket knowledge and experience:

- Former pace bowler for Tasmania
- Former bowling coach for Tasmania Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes
- 10 years experience in strength and conditioning at Cricket Tasmania
- Previous High Performance Coach at Cricket Tasmania - coached Uโ€™17 & U19 State Teams and Hobart Hurricanes Academy Teams

BODYSYSTEM

We believe that physiotherapy goes beyond the treatment room.

BODYSYSTEM was founded by Kellie Wilkie in 2001 with Fiona Hamilton joining the leadership team in 2014. Since that time the core value of maintaining a healthy and happy team has remained unchanged, which Kellie and Fiona both believe will deliver the highest quality services to our clients and referrers.

Our physiotherapists and exercise physiologists complete thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans which lead to self-management. This may include a combination of manual therapy, education and exercise.

As part of our comprehensive approach, we have developed several small group physiotherapy and exercise physiology programs held at our Rehab Studio, that target specific rehabilitation aims. Our casting and bracing service is provided by specially trained physiotherapists.
