Introducing Benji and his pet bird Skittles! 😍

Thank you to everyone who submitted name suggestions for our pictured illustrations that feature in the Take a minute Youth Peer Wellbeing Program. 🥰

The Youth Peer Wellbeing Program has been developed for schools, youth organisations and clubs as part of MHCT’s Youth Mental Health Access Project. 🎒

It gives young people the knowledge, skills and resources to engage their friends, family and community in understanding what positive mental health and wellbeing looks like and how to maintain it. 🥰

Benji and Skittles would love for you to visit the website to learn more about the program and to get involved: https://takeaminute.com.au/youth/

Pets are family, and when someone becomes unwell, the question of “who cares for my pet?” can cause real stress.

Our beautiful volunteer Caroline has inspired a special project exploring how we can better support people with pets during illness, treatment or hospitalisation.

We need your voice to bring this initiative to life. It only takes 2 minutes, and anyone can take part. 🐾
